2024 Democratic National Convention

Those of you who think Harris got the nomination nefareously, what is your solution? How should it be handled if the presumptive nominee decides, for whatever reason, to drop out. Let's hear it.

I thought that too, I wonder if people had second thoughts. His outstanding speech just confirmed he is capable, was capable of running our country, putting rumors to rest that his cabinet was covering up for him. Maybe he just had a bad night.

Last night was emotional for me, moved by seeing people proudly standing together; this is really about rescuing democracy.

I felt alseep on the couch

OK JD, but isn't that every night for you?

Hogan has no path to viability as a republican or a democrat. Perhaps one day he could run as an independent, but his pro-life stance is out of touch with America.

Not really.

Yes really. The majority of Americans are in favor of keeping abortion legal in all/most cases.

Are you sure? I mean, some of thr speakers have been good, some meh.

But I really think it would be a very bad idea to let her debate trump.

Doesn’t feel good for any Jewish convention goer to be trapped behind a cordon of riot police in full combat gear, just to save you from that mob. Or any Jewish American.

And? That was his rank in the army.

If you’re still currently supporting the Republican who isn’t in any condition to be president for four more years, you’re a dimwit.

You do know that many of us aren’t voting this year, right? We have told you this over and over.

Sick of hearing about people not voting. Grow up and get responsible or get out off this board and zip it. Shame on you.

It makes me a little mad - ok a lot mad actually - at the way he was just pushed out of the running by the big donors and party insiders. It was shameful the way he was treated. I really have a lot of anger over it that I haven’t processed. I’m not sure what I’m going to do, but last night reignited my rage over how President Biden has been treated the last month.

And I’m not goin to lie, there’s a cynical bitter streak inside me that would be highly amused and perhaps even a little satisfied to see Trump win, as a fitting punishment for what the party insiders and big donors did to Joe.

You’re not the boss of anyone, Sis. We’re all adults here so can the “I’m in charge act” ok? People like you are exactly why people like me are no longer feeling obligated to help elect the people you like. Because you yourself aren’t very likable.
