Since King and his staff are non-existent with regard to school involvement and Speaks is out there talking to kids and families, it made the difference in their choice.

you are kidding yourself if you think there is only one lax player currently at Military road who snubbed Prep and opted for SJC for high school.

and when you add in additional sports, the lists jumps to.

you are living in the past if you don't think SJC is a viable alternative to GP these days, because it is.

If you are so happy at SJC and so convinced of its wonderfulness, then why the whining about not being on the GP Lax schedule?

SJC is better than it was. But it's still SJC.

Maybe because they want the easy win.
Probably should just be happy if they can sneak by a normally .500 DeMatha again.

Someone's living off of guys that are considering their options post-college now and chose their major over a year ago.

9-8 OT and 9-8 v DM is a lot closer to what they are now. But I heard they run the DMV.

Its already been discussed but the overall talent in the 2025 and 2026 classes overall is DOWN relative to the recent graduation classes (2024s and 2023s)

All those 1x-2x-post grad year hold-backs have been playing against younger smaller kids for years. In college they will be playing against their true age group who have been playing against grown men. But they will be able to go to the bars with their new teammates from the get-go!

You realize the guys on the college team did the same thing, right? This is the sport folks chose, embrace the challenge and find your way.

Looks like Yale thinks the academics at St. John’s are good enough for them. You make it what you want.

Obviously. They have had Ivy girls lax commits the last few years.

Those that think they can’t compete academically are just living in the past. Paying more for tuition doesn’t mean it’s better.
