I can think of another story off the top of my head of a middle school administrator in Gaithersburg, who was also having an affair with his secretary , and they moved him to be an assistant principal. The stories are endless

Give specific examples and name names. Just making vague accusations with 0 evidence is irresponsible and wrong.

So that Jeffy can delete them all and lock the thread?

Exactly- not getting this thread shut down . Anyone in mcps who’s been around for a while in the up county area will know exactly which two admins are referred to in both stories above

You can report both situations anonymously using Safe Schools. We know MCPS didn’t care about these in the past, but McKnight specifically ask people to share complaints using Safe Schools. So whether it’s this “independent” investigation or research for a lawsuit, it will go on record.

Just be aware there is a 4,000 character limit for the online form.

I thought the article stated that something was reported to Safe Schools and nothing happened.

Yes, but reporting to Safe Schools is still useful since it leaves behind a paper trail, which can be used to give to the media or to bury MCPS in future litigation.

Exactly! And we know from the article there are at least 9 people who were too afraid to file complaints. The floodgates have been opened. Watch out MCPS!

She stands for a fair investigation. You people want to see this man suffer. This is AMERICA! Fair investigation is what is needed. These women should get ready!

Smearing the victims is not going to work this time. The paper trail is too long and too detailed; there are too many eyewitnesses, and his behavior was too egregious.

Assuming you know him personally, focus on convincing this man to get some treatment. He's going to be losing his job in addition to his marriage and it should be a moment of reflection for him.

He won’t lose his job.

He will definitely lose his job. Concrete evidence/post article/18 women/enraged parents/#me too movement means he can't be shuffled to a central office position.

He won’t lose his job. The wagons are circled.
If in the very remote possibility he loses his job, he will get a very hefty severance package.

If he doesn't get fired...God help us all. Students can vape in class, male principals have free license to sexually harras female staff and students, and kids can participate in restorative "chats" with their victimizers.

Eh. Not exactly. It looks like there was a long time between the investigation and the resignation. And they also weren't transparent about the offenses, the wrongdoings, etc. citing privacy and personnel confidentiality, so not really a model I'd uphold for MCPS.

Clearly this is a different story of students being harassed and bullied not grown adults.

I think teachers should work to rule until this admin and those that protected him are fired. Short of that action, teachers should stop doing clubs or any other unpaid activity.

How is it different than girls be told to stop dressing like thots by their principal?

In my experience in the private sector, there is a warning after the first issue. If a second issue comes up HR sends the perp packing. It’s too much of a liability to keep them around at that point.

MCPS really needs to clean house of any repeat offenders.
