APS mask policy

Exactly. Ventilation lady is nutso, but improving ventilation and air quality is a win-win across the board.

There's one person on here who is oddly and unhealthily obsessed with Ventilation Lady. Dude, please go get yourself some mental health help. Ventilation Lady is supplying schools with Corsi boxes and N95 masks. You know, actually helping people. You are making anonymous internet snipes about the person who is actually helping (which show your ignorance btw). And you think she's the one with the problem?

The law doesn’t but APS has told their teachers they cannot remind kids to put on masks.

Yes, I know. That's the point. APS went overboard.

Yes

You need to explore this with your therapist.

I’m an APS teacher. I still wear a mask daily and about half of my class does as well (upper elementary N Arlington school). We have been told not to say boo to any kid about wearing or not wearing a mask. The week before we became mask optional I had a conference where a parent specifically talked to me about it and how they wanted their student to continue wearing a mask. Their kid was unmasked day 1. I haven’t said a word. If a parent asks me I’ll tell them.

Yes. She is promoting fear. And her over the top demands were one of the reasons schools stayed closed last year.

That makes no sense. Even Youngkin is promoting better ventilation in schools.

You've got to get over your anger and your obsession. It's painful just to watch.

21 cases reported today and sorry to tell you they aren't all in 22207.

22207 has historically made up less than 20% of all the covid cases in APS, per the dashboard. But over the last week, it has made up 40% of all covid cases in APS.

Seems like you're saying the current numbers for 22207 are fine, but the results for 22207 are still very outsized given past trends. Numbers in 22207 are more than double what they usually are, in proportion with the rest of APS.

You Covid deniers would like that to be true. Normal parents care. Teachers too.

How many hospitalizations or deaths? Zero. You Covid Crazies need to get a grip on reality.

I’m a teacher and a parent in 22207, and I don’t care. Stop getting tested, and we still stop have Covid cases. I’m not a Covid denier. I’ve had it. My friends have had it. We all moved on quickly.
