We are 50. Five kids grown and out of the house. My DH will work for another five or six years. He travels all over the world with his job and now I travel with him. (I SAH). It's so much fun! Loving life and looking forward to lots of adventures!

65.

But they'll be in college so I doubt I'll want to stop working.

Do you mean when our last child leaves for college? 53, unless we have another child (in which case we'd likely be 55-56).

I'll be 51 and my husband will be 52. We'll probably work for at least another 10 years after the kids leave, maybe more. Plan/Goal is for us both to retire when we reach 65 if not before. Then we plan to sell our house and get a smaller house or apt (probably stay in the same area though), travel a lot, possibly get a second home somewhere else (likely somewhere close to kid(s) if they are settled by then).

If we don't have a third, we'll be 49/52. If we have a third (probably in 2019/2020), we'll be 2-3 years older than that!

We’ll both still be working for a long time after that, unless we win the lottery, so I’m hoping we’ll have dynamic careers that keep us happy. (I’ve been mommy tracked for a while but am now dialing things back up at 38). I also hope that we’ll be young and healthy enough to recultivate some of our old interests (exercise, travel, various outdoor pursuits) but which we’ve scaled way back since having kids.
