With the age reclassification in the 12s, next year top teams will be Arlington, Charlotte, VDA and RU. The kick and run party will be over.

Based on the girls joining the u13 team, sounds like a continued uphill battle and MV is not the cure.

100% agree. In VA there are 3 legitimate ECNL teams Arlington, VDA and RU. That Fairfax club only carries the badge and with MV, there 0 exposure. Just wait and see next year.

People have also been predicting Arlington to MLSN for a while now, and they still can't get in. If they never get into MLSN, then FVU is cooked. Maybe by time Arlington finally gets in, ECNL will change their rules and let Arlington keep their girls there, and FVU will definitely be finished then.

If y'all don't want to come to FVU, don't come to FVU. Plenty of other GA options (4 in Leesburg, VA alone!!). Or you can pop up to an ECNL team up north (or south) and be the 22nd person on the roster and get cut from showcase travel.
