Because it's done with each team and not by the club. Did you ask?

Half the fields get closed by Sunday so count on shortened or canceled games

All home teams are required to record and upload the matches into a MLS site. All clubs have access to the site and videos for all age groups.

This. They require it for U13 and above now too which wasn’t the case before.

My response is that this thread will not be removed. You are wasting your time trying to intimidate me.

It’s obvious that we’re playing along because, frankly, we have no other options. If these clubs actually cared, they’d invest in the development of the players rather than perpetuating this cycle of anti-competitive behavior and low-quality standards.

For any parent who believes their child has a real future in soccer, none of us would willingly choose to play for these organizations. They’re filled with poor coaching, unethical practices, and leadership that will do anything to gain an edge. The reality is that their focus is solely on making cash while selling dreams they know are unrealistic.

Take BSC, for example—one of the worst-run organizations in the history of youth soccer given the potential of the area. The leadership at BSC is absolutely deplorable, lacking integrity and ethics. They are driven solely by self-interest and profit. But they’re not alone. BA, Achilles, and others are just as bad, operating at the same low standard. These clubs only survive because they’re the only game in town, not because they offer quality programs. If real standards existed, most of them would shut down overnight.

And let’s not forget DCU. The leadership there is clueless—there may not be a single qualified person on staff. The entire youth organization is a joke, and they deserve a thread of their own.

The point is, we as parents are either brainwashed and forced to settle for this nonsense. Lets be honsest and call it out for what it is.

Agree. Although, DCU does have some people with qualifications. But the organization overall is a complete joke. Including the academy.

So where should the good kids play?
