Kate Middleton in Hospital - Recovering from Surgery

They made a mistake saying anything at all. Should have just had her lay low for a few weeks. Now everyone has medical experience and is a super sleuth and is speculating. The lady deserves a LITTLE privacy -

Don’t you post this same thing yesterday? Or are there two of you?

If she wanted privacy, she shouldn’t have married into the family of tabloid royals. This is precisely what she wanted, strangers being distracted from their real problems and issues while zoning in on her irrelevant comings and goings.

I’m 45 and suffers from Crohn’s disease in its most severe form. I had bowel surgery about 6 months ago. I was in the hospital for 5 days. 6 months later I am back in the gym. I picked where I left off and doing great. 10 to 14 days in the hospital that’s a long time for someone for age. She may have other additional risks factors.

The plastic surgery or "injury" crowd seem a bit far afield.

What digestive-related surgery would possibly require that long of a hospital stay and recovery?

Colon resection can be required for a variety of reasons. Hospital stay and recovery from that surgery can be 2 weeks for a variety of reasons.

Agree that was my first thought. She could have an colo/ileostomy may be temporary or permanent depending. She could have severe diverticulitis/osis, colitis, etc. This could require an extended hospital stay, not usually 14 days or whatever they’re saying though. That’s almost unheard of with any surgery.

I think you should see your doctor about your abdominal issues. Please take care of yourself.

Weren't they supposed to go to Italy? why announce this if she had a planned major surgery? this obviously wasn't planned or by planned they mean like not an emergency but also not something so routine that you plan several months in advance.

Was it ever confirmed that the convoy spotted on December 28th was going to the London Clinic? I thought I saw on X that it was going to some other hospital.

Yep. It’s the price they pay for living the high life on everyone else’s dime.

Plot twist: Kate and Charles were hospitalized after stabbing each other in abdomen and prostate areas. Thoughts and prayers! End of discussion.

Do you think she will post updates?

She was 19 when she fell in love.

People have said this multiple times. Inflammatory bowel diseases. Possibly lingering complication from her severe hyperemsis during pregnancy.

Don’t serve the lazy people who won’t read earlier posts.

She didn’t marry at 19. Lots of people choose not to marry the person they love because of the lifestyle it would require. It was a choice.

did you also have a temporary stoma or another surgical opening that required a wound vac - both of which require nursing care? 10-14 days is entirely possible
