You’ll the first person she’ll call. |
She doesn't get to declare privacy when it suits her and while selling stories about other family members. Do people really give a hoot about what's wrong with her or are they just bored and have nothing else to talk about. |
I love you. BEST post EVER!! |
They are essentially a reality show so yes, people are bored and curious about them. It’s pretty much their job to get attention. |
A double stabbing would make me tune in for another season of the crown |
I do think that MEDICAL privacy should be afforded to everyone.
Is it really anyone's business what is going on inside one's body just because they are a royal? I am thankful I wasn't famous when I had colon cancer as a 41 yo with 2 girls at home. I disclosed when I was ready to and on my own terms. I am very outspoken about it at this point, 5 years on (yes, I posted earlier) If she's sick, she's sick. Let her be. |
indeed |
Oh no! That’s not good. |
I have wondered about the “not cancer” line too. Where exactly did that come from? I could see the BRF trying to cover that up, which would be the wrong thing to do. In my opinion, cancer or disclosing a major medical struggle would really humanize her and garner a lot of empathy from the public. |
+100 |
It came from a Royal source. It’s been widely attributed to Palace officials. It’s very clear that the official word is that it’s not cancer. |
This is the official statement from the Royal Family. It does not mention cancer.

PP, can you provide a link please? It looks like the official statement does not address the question as to if it is cancer or not. |
The reporter from London on The Today Show this morning said no cancer. |
I have Crohn's and I was in the hospital for 14 days because of a bowel perforation and sepsis. I had another planned resection and for that I was in the hospital for 5 days? Six?
But it's important to keep in mind that I'm located in America (where they want you to leave the hospital ASAP), and I am not a royal, and the hospital was not fun. She is a princess, it would make sense for her to get, you know, the royal treatment in the hospital. |
