Hunter Biden indicted on nine tax charges, adding to gun charges in special counsel probe

The prosecution used some authenticated data from the Lap top.

Those are different things.

The laptop has not now not ever been shown to be tampered with.

Hunter Biden’s legal team had the opportunity to have the laptop examined and analyzed by a forensic computer expert if their choice, and to submit evidence to the court that the laptop had been tampered with. They didn’t.

And Hunter’s legal team didn’t do any analysis to show any evidence the laptop was tampered with.

You know why? Because they would have spent a boatload of cash on a useless analysis because Hunter told his attorneys that was his laptop.

Dp- disingenuous. Hunter may have known the data the prosecution was using in this case to be factual. Maybe.
That doesn’t mean the entirety of the lap top to be authentic.

There’s no evidence the entirety of the laptop isn’t authentic.

Was it a political prosecution? Maybe, but no one is threatening to burn down the judiciary because Hunter was tried and convicted by a jury.

Correct. There is no connection to Joe Biden for the drug related offenses.

Now, for the tax evasion, Burisma and money laundering, there is.

No, there isn't. Comer and Jordan have been chasing that mirage for years and have NOTHNG to show for it. It's great theater though, which is really its only purpose.

There is no direct link but it’s hard not to read something like this and have your eyebrows raised.

The DOJ allowed the statute of limitations expire on his most serious tax charges, buried evidence of the Bidens' foreign bribery allegations, and attempted to give Hunter a sweetheart deal with broad immunity.

David Weiss wouldn't go after him on the serious tax charges or on FARA because all of that would lead back to the shady business dealings involving his father.

Instead, they went after him for a much lesser charge, where the evidence was way too insurmountable to ignore, so they can scream "nobody is above the law" when they put President Trump in jail.

So let me get this straight...you don't accept the outcome when Trump gets convicted. You don't accept the outcome when Biden's son gets convicted. Is there *any* outcome that you would have accepted?

Great, glad you've now conceded that the FBI agent did not in fact testify to the authenticity of everything on "the laptop."

Why didn’t Hunter’s legal team have the laptop analyzed and submit the evidence and proof to the court?

If they had done that it could have bolstered his case greatly.

Hey, you guys wanted "novel legal theory" to lawfare political enemies. Now you want people to accept your BS?

Likely because they knew the specific photos and texts that the prosecution was submitting into evidence were real. But that doesn't mean everything else is authentic. When the WaPo analyzed a version of the laptop floating around found that some items could be verified, the vast majority could not, and that some items were in fact added after the fact. https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/03/30/hunter-biden-laptop-data-examined/

Dp- how would that help?
If the data used at trial is authentic, having that lap top scrutinized does nothing for the defense. Why would a good attorney advocate doing that? The lap top wasn’t the case.,
The case was about a gun charge.

WRONG!

She was in court with him today. I can tolerate differing opinions, but I absolutely hate lies, and you are lying.

"Ten percent for the big guy"

If there ever was a 10% for the big guy, it pales in comparison to the 2 billion presidential advisor Jared Kushner got from the Saudis.

So what we know for sure is that the laptop is authentic and that Hunter Biden has not disputed any content.

Given this, the logical conclusion for political operatives like you is, the rest of the content is inauthentic - trust me bro. So persuasive.

Hesitantly giving credit to Pres. Biden, in one of the only moves he has made over the last year that doesn’t have me cringing, for the simple statement that he’s proud of his son for battling addiction and that he accepts the verdict. Under the circumstances, he threaded the needle with that unenviable task.

He was charged with having a gun while using drugs. The drug use is in his memoir. What does the laptop have to do with anything?

All you are doing is normalizing blatant, unabashed corruption that corrodes any trust in the institution of the presidency.
