Why?

Why can’t Hunter Biden pay his own taxes, as Americans are legally required to do?

I think HB is being singled out in what you would call a "witch hunt" because he is related to Joe Biden.

I am more concerned about crimes committed by people while they were in office, and who took an oath to defend and uphold our Constitution. I am also concerned about the people who work in government, who may or may not be related to the POTUS, who did things I find highly questionable during their tenure.

Hunter is a non issue in my opinion. I don't care about him one way or the other. But you holding him up as some kind of a "gotcha" is strange. What is your point, how is it "political" that some guy - arguably a real low-life, sure - who is not potus is getting his life torn apart publicly?

So HB gets to ride on Air Force One and stay at the WH with his parents- but isn’t a “political person?”

Are you dumb? What other family members of a potus are considered a "political person"? UNLESS they are given actual jobs in the administration? Was Nixon's daughter a "political person" when she got married in the rose garden?

He's a loser and I wouldn't want him for my kid. That has zero bearing in my mind on Joe Biden. Lots of perfectly nice people have kids that just turn out.... wrong.

I'd love to know how much hookes and blow certain other presidential sons have gone through....

Weiss pretends to crack down on Hunter while continuing to run interference for Joe Biden and the Biden crime family operation.

You people are so ridiculous. There is zero chance that anyone not named Hunter Biden gets criminally charged for these things— he is being charged because he is the president’s son — and yet you think it’s all somehow a coverup for bigger crimes.

It’s the QAnon approach to government.

Exactly.

Once the taxes have been paid, the core of the charges go away. The ONLY reason these charges are being levied is because he is Hunter Biden.

Well, I guess I won't vote for hiim, then.

He’s been buying drugs and living the high life otherwise while evading taxes.

He’s illegally obtained guns.

Those things are a big who cares to you?

We should only care about or prosecute tax evaders or people who break our gun laws if they are running for president?

If one of Trump’s kids were in this situation, you would not care?

Do you remember Slurry McSlurryson Jr slurring his words and fighting the cocaine? Trump’s kids were in this situation. The difference is that the GOP likes a political witch hunt and the Democrats don’t use the judiciary to attack their enemies.

Meanwhile the three Trump kids probably helped plan the GOP’s coup on 1/6 and probably should be indicted.

Hilarious.
I remember none of this. It is all in your feverish dreams.
And, are you serious that Democrats don't use the judiciary to attack their enemies? This is a case where you are accusing the other side of doing something that the Democrats are clearly doing.

No, it’s not in my “feverish dreams” (not the phrase, bud), you’re just uninformed. Go have a gander at Jr, high as a kite: https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/914641.page

Where are the Democrats attacking their enemies on political grounds?

Hey hey hey.

Are you saying all presidential relatives who hang out with their presidential family are political people who need watching and investigating? OK.

No- they need to pay their taxes and not illegally buy guns. Also if a politician votes for laws to put Americans in jail for possession of crack rock, as Biden did specifically, and his son records himself smoking crack multiple times, why should he be exempt from the laws his father helped pass?

The "illegally buy guns" bit is so dumb. Are you seriously proposing going after everyone who fudged on their gun application?

Yeah, I didn't think so.

I’m glad you acknowledge there is a place for gun regulation. That we can agree on.

I don’t j is anyone who says HB shouldn’t pay taxes he owes. As should ALL taxpayers even presidents and former presidents as well as billionaires and millionaires. We can all agree on that.

Yes. And he has repaid all back taxes.

So what's the problem?
Anonymous
At least Republicans are showing their support for the IRS. More funding would mean more enforcement of tax laws and catching evaders. A bipartisan topic if ever there was one!

I have no idea.
