She's fine now.

If shahid was never speeding no one would’ve died and if ben checked the intersection like he’s legally obliged too and stopped no one also would’ve died. The only thing that disgusts me is how one side got away with it while one had to suffer all the consequences.

Even assuming there was some blame on the SUV driver (I don't agree with this, but let's just go with it), he played his cards right - cooperated with prosecution and got immunity. Shahid had a chance to plea, but decided to take this to trial. He got exactly what he deserved for his stupidity 2 years ago and after the accident.

Wrong! One party at fault and one party held accountable.

I think he already pay the price, the parents yelled at him a lot for it.

Can’t give the jury the option of a lower charge or they might take it. Same reason why he wasn’t charged with driving without a license. Make it an all-or-nothing decision for them. Also the sentences probably will run concurrently so it doesn’t matter.

Hopefully she will collect something in civil trial. He owes her.

Physically, probably, but mentally? She probably has god awful ptsd or something of the sort from what she had to go through. Not to mention that she was previously extremely injured– saying "she's fine now" doesn't fix the fact that she had to go to her best friend's funeral in crutches.

Yes! So glad he was found guilty. Hope he gets a long sentence and the assets of the whole family are claimed during the civil trial. He and his family and supporter disgusting for accepting no responsibility for their reckless actions.

Just stop. 2 years should be enough !
We all know it was a mistake and he felt bad. We all did we all did. You just don’t understand teen boys who loves to speed and race

Let's blame BMW too for making a car that goes too fast.

If you're trolling, you're doing a lousy job of it. FYI

What exactly did he do during these past 2 years that show remorse?
