Atlantic County Wave was one of the teams they played, who were ranked 172 last year. One Seven Two. |
oh - good job! You learned how to write your numbers out to the hundreds place!! |
| Thanks KM |
They are all brand new squads, what don't you understand about that.So one of the teams was horrible, but the Stars 27s still mysteriously has no talent. |
Stars Light Blue vs. Pride Red will be a close game. Bunch of the old Pride girls are on Stars now. |
Has Pride Black 2027 played yet? How did Pride White do this weekend? |
Maybe don't brag about your goal differential when you play against teams outside the top-150, just a thought, in a fall tournament of all places. |
KMG you are literally the only person who thinks like this |
No idea who KMG is, but I guess there's two people who don't see the logic of bragging about goal differential when playing teams outside the top-150. |
You like moving goalposts don't you. |
New poster. Anyone who knows anything about travel lacrosse thinks like this. It’s great that you’re proud of your daughter’s team. But if you are going to brag about goal differential, then provide context. In this case, the context is they played three teams in pool play that were ranked 172, 237, and 218, and then lost by a goal to Rebels, which is ranked 71. Stars can be a good team and will compete with others like Pride and Rebels to be the third best team in the DC area behind Capital Blue and Orange. |
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Stars Light Blue and the former Pride Red/now Pride Black will play a head-to-head match-up this fall. Maybe that will change. |
The Stars girls are doing just fine..... |
At this point local DMV teams should not want to play local teams anymore, that is what the NGLL is for. For their lax development and recruiting, u want your daughter’s playing new teams and new players they have not seen yet/part of the recruiting game. |
Just some advice for those of you who want to debate wins and losses between club teams. If you are playing the long game (recruiting) it doesn’t matter. What does matter, playing the top teams in your class and being competitive. If your DD wants to play at a high level in college and her club team is playing poorly ranked teams as noted above, make a change now. No goal differential will make up for playing weak competition and it will not garner the attention of college coaches. Players who want to play in college are minimizing their chances playing for these clubs and parents are spending a lot of time and money that will provide little to no return. |
