Hmmm.... Maybe she knows rebuttal witnesses are going to pummel his testimony. So I'm guessing after lunch: defense will do couple hours of stumble/bumble re-direct - then rest (he has to be their final witness). Then CW calls rebuttal witnesses who rip apart his testimony (thru Friday). weekend break and then closing statements on Monday?

I think there is no way for Christine to have clearly spoken to BB and JM with the seven wounds to her neck. More likely she spoke with a surface wound, then Joe was shot, then she was stabbed. All by BB and JM. It really needs to be hammered home.

No I think it was the authorities here so she couldn't leave during the investigation. Not sure if state/federal.

They're back. So during lunch, a man walked up to the detective and asked if it was too late to testify... the detectives told him to stop talking and this was in earshot of two jurors. They briefly conferred and appear to be proceeding with BB.

If JM and BB were broken up at the time of the murder, then why did the detective in the lobby of the hotel they were staying at the night of the murder overhear JM tell V that V could call her mommy, and said "I wish" when V asked if JM and BB would get married?

This is vomit inducing. I didn’t think he could sink any lower but implying she’s getting off on the victimization of her patients? Disgusting.

Also, saying that he “rendered aid” to a dying Christine, come on. I know we all act differently in a crisis but who would say that? Of course he murdered her so he doesn’t have the visceral memory, of actually trying to save his wife to draw on. My husband was SAR for years. He never used that kind of terminology when something happened to the kids or me and we were at the ER or whatever. If I were on the jury that would be something I noticed. So cold.
