Fairfax County Double Murder

12:37 again. I forgot to mention how bizarre it was that Brendan claims Christine said,
”I’m bleeding out.”

A dying woman with multiple stab wounds on both sides of her neck says I’m bleeding out? Cos-playing cop thought it was clever to claim his wife, a pediatric ICU nurse, whose neck is shooting blood from multiple stab wounds would say this.

I believe Julianna testified that Christine said, “I’m dying.”

He just said with a crooked smile and slight giggle— “I wish I’d shot him earlier.” (Joe Ryan) Intro to psychology courses define this type of emoting as pathological liars.

Christine’s parents are in the gallery looking at him. He darts his eyes away from them. Their granddaughter is being held hostage. She looks just like her grandfather. How that man has not jumped the railing to pummel him…

Prosecution is guns blazing….

I thought the same thing - jeans and his bulky black jacket that is MIA.

He thinks he thought of everything. I can't wait to hear the cross examination, but Drone-on-Carroll will probably drag it into next week, asking Brenden to describe the ingredients in the cookie he ate and details of a photo from 1996.

"How was it to introduce an egg sandwich from McDonalds into your life"?

OMG you just made my day! Love it when a random internet stranger makes me laugh out loud!

Holy crap. He considers Julianna a hero. “She saved my life. It’s easy to fall in love with someone who saved my life.”

OMG I had a meeting and another one is about to pop up. Does court TV or anyone post complete videos of his testimony and cross for those who missed the live stream?

Juliana or Julianna allegedly broke up with Brendan.

Prosecution grilled him about it, then the kill shot: “So you killed your wife to get back together with Juliana?”

Brendan: “No” Smirk and almost a laugh.

He was stringing her alone while she rotted in jail. Then they presented her with evidence of this other affairs, and how she wasn't the only one. She was just the only one he could get to help him. That's when she started signing a different tune. She thought they'd get away with it and ride back off into the sunset once the smoke cleared (move to Brazil together).

How does the claim that JM broke up with him fit into his story? Because he said they weren't together at the time of murder?

Also not believable to a jury that she would break up with him. And then move into the master bedroom right after.

And any Au pair would have left the house immediately after being involved in two murder (one at your hands) and gone to another family (I had 7 Au pairs; rematching to another family is pretty easy).

or of course gone home.

Did prosecution end their cross? Or just took break for lunch?
Anonymous
Judge offered to break for lunch, and CW wanted to wrap up first, would it not have been better to use the lunch break to review his testimony for more holes, or did she just feel like she was on a roll?

Here's the link, yes they are on lunch now but you can rewind back and watch in double speed to catch up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ij5_YJC8O1s

I think they might have taken her passport when this happened. That was discussed a few months ago because I think they arrested her when she tried to renew or replace it, something like that.

I agree with you. take the break, because BB is not allowed to consult with his attorny in the middle of cross (unless VA is different).

I am not watching, but man, that cross was short. Makes me nervous. But do note that cross is not to make your arguments, that is closing. So we will see.

But again, given he is a pathological liar, a good crosser could hve unraveled a few things I bet. And doesn't she have colleagues she could talk to at lunch to get their thoughts on loose ends.

Is there court tomorrow? I know fridays are usually off, but with the snow days, just wondering.
