I was at a HH with my 25 year old brother and his friends the other night. I met a friend of his that kind of shook me to my core. In regards to dating anyway!
This friend 25 years old, very good looking and carries himself with an easy confidence of a 32 year old. He makes eye contact and speaks with the kind of confidence and self assuredness that that many of my 30somethibg male peers lack! I learnt that he was already married for a few years and had a new born at home. He is also a wealth advisor. As I walked home I was impressed with whoever his wife was and how she managed find, marry him and make him her baby daddy all before age 25! |
| I wish I could be so impressed easily. |
| Wow, you sound nuts. |
| The best guys have lots of money to spend and a willingness to spend it on me. Otherwise I don't care. |
|
Yawn!
Another bash women who aren't married and with child before 30 post. |
| I don't want a 25 yo baby daddy. |
+1 who the hell are you hanging around with that holding a conversation and eye contact at 25 is shocking? |
|
Oh, the hell they are. I got married at 25 to someone who made my knees quake. Guess what, it didn't work.
Many years later I married a 43-year-old. He is truly a "best guy." |
|
How do you know he's a good guy?
Yes he has swagger and money, but how do you know how he treats his wife? How do you know if he's an attentive father? There's more to choosing a husband than his bank account and charm. |
I was just going to post something similar. Not all of them are. There's a reason mid 30s is a hot time for divorce. |
+ 1000 The truth is there are great guys at every age. Some find that great guy at 20 and some at 30 or 40 or even 50! |
| Yawn! |

I don't understand the snark. Women complain on this forum all the time about being single and lack "good guys."
I was honestly surprised to find such any level headed mature and put together 25 year old. I grew up in the policy/think tank world and the 25-26 year olds I hung out with were so far away from baby house wife at 25. Let alone a lucrative career! |
The snark is probably;y because you should have said this instead of your title. Your title is offensive. |
People (men and women) complain in every town, everywhere, about being single and lacking "good" partners. It ain't a DC thing. I'm sure there's some penguin in Antarctica bitching its fluffy little ass off about it right now..... |
