I was honestly surprised to find such any level headed mature and put together 25 year old.

I grew up in the policy/think tank world and the 25-26 year olds I hung out with were so far away from baby house wife at 25. Let alone a lucrative career!

The snark is probably;y because you should have said this instead of your title. Your title is offensive.

People (men and women) complain in every town, everywhere, about being single and lacking "good" partners. It ain't a DC thing. I'm sure there's some penguin in Antarctica bitching its fluffy little ass off about it right now.....

A imagine a bitching penguin is adorable.

They're adorable until they jam up all the Penguin Boards with snark about how the boys don't bring them the right rocks, and are always schlepping the best herring to that hussy on the next iceberg rather than sitting on their chicks like a Best Penguin Guy should.

The best penguins are taken by six months of age, tops. GET IN THERE LADIES.

+1 who the hell are you hanging around with that holding a conversation and eye contact at 25 is shocking?

LOL I was wondering how confidence of a 32 yo is different from confidence of a 33 yo.

A 25 yrs old wealth advisor?

Not to be trusted.

He is confident due to his ignorance.

It's just the shining mediocrity of youth, before reality bitch-slaps him a few times.

LOL. More likely he is confident because he was born into a wealthy family. Most of the successful wealth advisors I know come from families of means. They already have a pool of wealthy potential clients and run in those circles.

Married for a few years at 25? I'm sure some lucky lady will be able to snatch him up when he hits the dating market again in a few years.

Wealth advisor? He's one step up from a used car salesman. Vanguard and roboadvisors will put him out of a job in 10 years or less.

A 25 year old at HH with a newborn at home? Not impressed.

My husband would never have pulled that on me.

When my grandfather was 25 he'd already fought for almost 4 years in World War 2, and then gotten an engineering degree. He'd been married since 19, had three children, and was buying a house.

He needs to skip happy hour and impressing ladies and get his behind home. A newborn is a baby 30 days or younger. It's not "cute" to be at a bar when you are parent of a newborn.

Thank you! I could not figure out what HH was.

There are people who develop a lot of maturity and present themselves well very early on. I met a wonderful teen who was in many ways more mature than I was, when finishing up my graduate program.

But these people are rare, and some may not be all that in the long run.

There's someone out there for everyone. Let's not get overexcited.
