Daniel Tiger is a whiny brat!

(Not sure if this is really "entertainment" but since it's a tv show I posted here.)

I made the mistake of letting my 2yo watch Daniel Tiger and now it's all she wants to watch (previously she was into Elmo/Sesame Street and Curious George). Does anyone else find him insufferable? He is constantly whining and having tantrums. I understand the idea of the show is to teach lessons so he has to be doing something wrong or having trouble in order of the show to have a lesson to teach but gosh he's annoying.

This. For us, Caillou was the WORST.... But Caillou's voice was much worse and higher pitched. And he was so hideous. Daniel Tiger is much cuter.

I love Daniel tiger's mom. I borrow parenting tactics from her all the time.

Just wait, OP. I long for the days of sweet Daniel tiger.

Daniel Tiger songs get stuck in my head and are annoying AF. So is the Ponyo song!

I love Daniel Tiger! We use the songs, or variations of the songs all the time.

My kids (including my 6 yo rising 1st grader that I'd think would be too old for him) are now loving DT. My husband thinks the show is hilarious - "why do the guys not wear pants, but the women do?" "Why is the king like, best friends with a guy working at the clock factory?" "Do they pay for the trolley?"

Daniel is a typical 3-4 year old. Caillou on the other hand...

Love Daniel tiger. So much less annoying than other shows. Good lessons too!

I like that his friends take turns being the brat-of-the-day. It's not always DT being stubborn, sometimes it's Prince Wednesday or Owl.

Sorry OP- love Daniel Tiger and I agree about Caillou

I love Daniel.
I make up my own Daniel-tiger-type songs. Ok, just like two of them.

I wish I could be like Daniels mom. Even her MAD is fairly calm and patient.

Yes, why don't Daniel Tiger or his dad wear pants? That bothers me a lot, especially in the episode where he is learning to use the bathroom.
And I now have that song in my head, "If you have to go potty, stop and go right away, flush and wash and be on your way!"
