married professor dating a graduate student

Should I submit an anonymous complaint? Why else would my Ph.D. adviser be having closed door meetings for hours on end? He never closes the door when we meet. The student has even finished his qualifying exams so I know they aren't working on research. The fact that he's married really pisses me off too.

I meant to write she hasn't NOT finished her qualifying exams.

You have no evidence besides a closed door?

Relax and focus on your work, doctor wannabe.

You dummy, if it's your advisor, the person signing off on your dissertation, the person writing job recommendations and contacting hiring committees for you, STFU.

This is not your business and you don't even know what's going on. Why do you care?

Huh?

They're both legal adults - why do you care.

Is she attractive? Are you jealous of this alleged interaction?

Potential favoritism?

Dress slutter - always worked for me when I went into the office of my adviser. Now I have a great job thanks to his connections.

No. I am male. He doesn't have time for his other students. It has nothing to do with jealously.

LOL spending hours in a professor's office = really shitty "date" you should feel sorry for her

Did you miss the part where op wrote that he's MARRIED.
Anonymous
Do you KNOW they're sleeping together, or are you just making assumptions? If you know it as fact, submit a complaint through whatever administrative mechanism your institution has in place.
Anonymous
OP knows nothing. Has no evidence, and is just annoyed that his advisor won't meet with him.

My advisor was completely asexual and still didn't give me the time of day.

Focus on your work, junior.
