DP. Oh, I see. Since someone hasn't experienced racism in their life, it is time to make sure they do now? Is that what this is all about? |
I just moved to VA from DC and am ride or die for Youngkin. It will be my first vote ever for a Republican, and I’m 40. This year taught me that the extreme wacky left (close school forever so WTU can Netflix) needs to be taught a lesson! |
![]() I think there are many more just like you. |
The Democrats certainly haven’t done a good job of convincing white and Asian parents they have anything but disdain for them. They let ancient white liberals, BLM/CRT activists, and slick politicians like McAuliffe who have no principles set their agenda. |
I think you are all sock puppets and fakes. Come on. I hAVe NEveR VoTed FOr a RePUBlIcAN. |
McAuliffe looks like a movie villain. The assistant to the president who is trying to undermine him, or the evil businessman. |
Here's the archived version. Don't tell me they're not incorporating CRT principles in FCPS. https://web.archive.org/web/20210722123818/https://baileyses.fcps.edu/node/4887 Note: The Social Media Account links don't work, for example, "Woke Kindergarten," "No White Saviors," and "Ibram Kendi." But you can look those up yourself. |
First. what makes you so sure I haven't felt racism in my life? You think that blacks are the only ones who have been on the receiving end of bigotry and prejudice? What an elitist, close-minded view! I am part of a minority religion, one that has experienced TERRIBLE racism, and my childhood was so rife with bigotry that 1) our family had our property vandalized, 2) I had slurs scratched into my locker at school, 3) my clothes were stolen out of the gym basket with a nice little note about Jews, and, last by but no means least, 4) two teenage boys walked into my house when I was 13 years old and threatened me. It was this last point that had my parents convinced we had to move out of the neighborhood - and we did. And second, let's say your false assumption was correct and that I had never experienced racism. THAT is your response to my alarm over the anti-white and anti-Asian racism now being tolerated - no, PROMOTED - by the left, who simultaneously claim that are against racism? Are you saying that since whites have had "privilege," it's time to turn the tables and advance hate and bigotry against THEM? So, IOW, all this talk about eliminating racism is a big lie - it's about switching around who the victims are. |
Not true. I belong to a group of former Democrats (I was one once myself) who are so alarmed by what the radical left is doing - particularly at the school level - that they are all voting Republican for governor. The race will be close. |
No. One thinks the way to a prosperous America is to have monetary incentives for citizens to learn valuable job skills and contribute more fully to society. (I myself am an example. I didn't go straight to college after high school....I got a job. The only job I qualified for was some mindless one that paid little. After a year of that, I went to college, and doubled my pay my first year after graduation. Within five years after that, I was a 4x the pay of the high school job.) The other thinks America will be "prosperous" by bribing people to refuse to work at all, and keep collecting bloated unemployment "pay." |
Thank you, pp. |
+1. Just returned from college touring around the state with DC. Could not believe the number of Youngkin signs all over- Richmond, Tidewater, etc. |
Rs are pretty well known for their signs.
The most signs don’t translate to votes |
+2 I would not put much stock in signs. I saw about equal if not slightly more signs for Gillespie in 2017 and we all know how that turned out. Not saying Youngkin doesn’t have a chance, he very well might. |
Did anyone attend the Democrat rally in Arlington yesterday? I’ve heard only 500 of the available 1500 tickets were used. |
