Didn't Ford admit he was her boyfriend?

Very weird--the same Garrett person Whelan attempted to nail.

I think she actually specifically said not her boyfriend. She said that they "went out." I took that to mean that they went to movies together or dances together occasionally, maybe held hands or kissed but nothing particularly serious. But it did appear that he is the reason she knew Kavanaugh. He probably wasn't at the gathering, as she'd probably remember that, but I can totally see something like she runs into one of his friends at the club, and the friend says "Hey, Chrissy, a bunch of us are hanging out this afternoon at X's house...Squi's gonna come join. You wanna come over?" And she says "Sure!". Ad then she ends up leaving before Squi shows up. It's probably also why Leland doesn't really remember Kavanaugh....she went because C was going, and maybe she knew Squi or one of the other boys as well.

Interesting possible explanation.

Does anyone else think that its possible Brett Kavanaugh simply cannot remember the incident because it had zero impact on his life at the time and because obviously, he was very drunk when it happened?

Yes, I believe many people believe this. I think it's either this (no memory while blackout drunk) or so entitled that he thought his "horseplay" doesn't count as sexual assault so he can claim he's "innocent." Blackout drunk is most likely IMO.

+1. I also believe that's he's probably not a serial sexual assailant. I think he's just a jock who likes to drink and impress other drunk guys, and sometimes the way to do that is to treat a girl like crap. It's consistent with the crap he talked about Renate -- I believe he never touched her, but the game was to pretend he "had' her, just to be an ass with his friends.

Blumenthal is making me cry as he’s saying Ford’s sons should be proud of her.

I used to believe this until I saw him yesterday. Yesterday he looked like someone enraged because at some level he was ashamed and was lashing out.

Sen. Jon Tester just announced he will not vote to conform Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

He said this in a statement:

"I have deep concerns about the allegations of sexual assault against Judge Kavanaugh. Unfortunately, Judge Kavanaugh couldn’t find time to discuss these concerns with me in person, so the only information I have is from what he said in his hearings. I’ll be voting against him.”
Jon Tester is one of five Senate Democrats running for re-election in states that President Donald Trump carried by double digits in 2016, but Tester has shown an ability to win tough races in the past.

He won re-election in 2012 by almost four percentage points while Barack Obama lost Big Sky Country to Mitt Romney by 13.

Absolutely agree he may not remember.

My concern is his evasiveness, belligerence and lying. “Drinking game” indeed.

They absolutely should be. As should her parents and anyone who has supported her through this process.

As a woman, I'm sitting here watching all of this unfold, and I realize that it's pointless to vote. Nothing is going to change. This guy is 5 times worse than Clarence Thomas, and the Republicans wouldn't even interview people who could have provided background. This decades after Anita Hill. The only thing that matters in this country is rich white men.

Perhaps minorities do not show up in the polls as much as (in the same numbers as) white people because...wait for it...they are minorities! White people are the majority of the population in this country, just as Chinese are the majority in their country, just as Ugandans are the majority in theirs.

So please, stay home. Do not vote. People like you brought forth lying, mentally unstable women like "Dr" Ford (this person has a PhD? In Stupidology, maybe) and Anita Hill to block a supreme court nomination.

The Democrats had plenty of time. They grilled him with relentless questioning more than any other supreme court nominee has ever had to go through. The Democrats waited 10 days after Kavanaugh said, "Yes, do investigate!" but they did nothing, sat around hoping to delay, delay, and delay the vote until after the November election when this supposed "Blue Wave" will materialize and plump them back into power.

There is no Blue Wave, anymore than the resurrected campaign corpse of Hillary "Dolores Umbridge" Clinton will march like a zombie back into power.

Trudodo is up in Canada waiting for people like you to show up. Why don't you move up there? Take Michael Moore with you too, please.

Hmm, you mad boo?

Why Brett Kavanaugh Wasn’t Believable
And why Christine Blasey Ford was.
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/27/opinion/why-brett-kavanaugh-wasnt-believable.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur
"On Thursday, he gave misleading answers to questions about seemingly small matters — sharpening doubts about his honesty about far more significant ones. He gave coy answers when pressed about what was clearly a sexual innuendo in his high-school yearbook. He insisted over and over that others Dr. Blasey named as attending the gathering had “said it didn’t happen,” when in fact at least two of them have said only that they don’t recall it — and one of them told a reporter that she believes Dr. Blasey."

21 of these asshole Republican senators are up for election in 2020. Remember their vile anti-woman votes here, and make them pay. Here are some of the names of senators who are voting for this sexual predator Kavanaugh, and now need to be tossed out in 2020 ...

Joni Ernst - Iowa
Shelly Moore Capito - WV
Lindsey Graham - SC (the worst)
Mitch McConnell - KY (even worse)
Ben Sasse - NE (screw his “concerns”)
Cory Gardner - CO
Tom Cotton - AR
Thom Tillis - NC
Susan Collin -ME (can she show a spine?)

Throw them out. Remember their votes.

If Joe Manchin and Heidi Heitkamp vote for Kavanaugh, they are effectively quitting the Democratic Party. If they vote for him, Democrats should abstain from the midterm. There is no point voting for pseudo-Democrats who are actual republicans but wants to sit with Democrats to feel they are cool.

Sen. Jeff Flake's been gone for more than 30 minutes after leaving with his friend Democratic Sen. Chris Coons, as we reported below.
Jeff Flake sures loves the attention!
PerCNN:

"At one point during Flake's absence, Coons returned, whispered to Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s staff director, causing quite a bit of chatter on the Democratic side.

Feinstein and Coons then went to the anteroom with Feinstein's staff director. It’s unclear if Flake will return to speak, since Grassley seems eager to take a break.

Note: We don't know what any of this means, we should say. It could be nothing -- but it’s noticeable."

Good on him for that after all of the mentions of Kavanaugh’s daughters. I wonder if they ever would have been brought up if they were boys. “Kavanaugh has daughters! Ergo, he loves women!”
