Metro won. Lost to WC but had better goal differential in tier bracket. CONGRATS!

What is Metro U19 listed as in Tourneymachine? There’s no Metro there. Thx!

The Wolves and Warhawks won their pools, too! Nice showing!

Husel finished second in pool and second in tier.

Anyone have summer camps or clinics that they’d recommend for a rising 9th grader who is a decent club player?

Not a good showing, at all. But pretty typical for Husel. Low pool, low tier.

WC Eagles if you can swing having a parent go with since it’s a day camp.

Next Level coach just landed an assistant coach position at Yale. Another great connection for that club that already has a good track record of placing girls at Penn and Georgetown.

Which goes to show that "talent" alone doesn't determine where you will get recruited. Coaches with connections, who USE them to benefit their players, goes more of a distance in recruiting. Lots of kids with talent, but no coach help or encouragement on any level, aren't going D1 but could with a little help.

Recruiting is becoming less egalitarian, and more of a legacy caste system, just like everything else.
