Canada Truck Convoy, what to think about it?

I don’t know why you’re confused. These people are insurrectionists. They are trying to overthrow their government and are using economic terrorism to do it. They perform jobs that the survival of Canadian society depends on. They are supposed to be moving food and freight and other things that the economy and basic survival requires. And they’ve stopped doing those jobs - and have effectively turned their role in society into an economic weapon against the government. They are now a domestic enemy at war with the Canadian govt. so it’s time for them to be treated as such. They need to be crushed with overwhelming force. Not just to stop the current insurrection but also to be an example to other groups that might think about going against the government one day. What if all medical personnel in Canada decided not to do their jobs as some kind of insurrection attempt? Or power plant workers? Or firefighters? You cannot allow a precedent like this to be established.

So it was ok to hit him?

Yes. Bicyclist are considered vehicles and need to follow the laws as if they’re a car. They pull that card when it’s convenient for them, yet forget about it when it’s not. You want to play a stupid game? Here’s your prize.

Wow. NO. WRONG WRONG WRONG. You are NOT allowed to intentionally hit someone just because they were blocking a green light or "not following the rules."

If you have a driver's license, it should be revoked immediately for getting something SO wrong.

He didn’t hit him. The biker was able to get out of the way. The biker was deliberately trying to block the convoy. The truck moved slowly forward, not intending to run him down.

You seem to view all these professionals as slaves, rather than grown men and women being paid for doing an essential job. Fire them like Reagan did, and hire others to work those jobs. That’s the work-around the government has if they don’t like it.

You seem to ignore, this is a coordinated right wing attack. This is not an organic protest of common people.

Again, fire those professionals not doing the job they were hired to do and hire new people.

Sorry, didn’t see him. I looked up, saw the green and went. I hope he’s ok….

See how that works?

We always knew that these right wing insurrectionists were liars.

Some are doing all that, very few of them are doing all that. But, isn't it the law in Canada that you have the right to peacefully protest? Someone posted about that earlier.
Are people that are trying to remove totalitarian governments also insurrectionists? But, we cheer on them to succeed? If this is a revolution how come we hate this one, but like some others?
Seems to me you decided to be upset about this when big businesses are being hurt.

But, not with Canadian regular people.

BS. If you let your car roll forward into someone that's intentional, and he's clearly physical hit but the truck even if he's able to walk away after. I'm not saying that this is the crime of the century or anything but it's a both a traffic violation and possibly more. I had a cousin get probation for deliberately letting her car roll into someone she was having an argument with who was standing in front of her car, actually.

There were people on Tienanamen square too, no? They were opposed to what the government was doing, are hailed as martyrs.
Please explain the difference to me, I am not so smart.
If you say, use force to get rid of these miscreants that are sitting in their trucks, how is that ok, but rolling tanks over people in China is not ok?

Says the guy who pronounces "about" as "aboot" (a mere 1 second into his video). "But but but we Canadians don't say aboot!"

Most of us don't.

You also say sooowwrrreee.
I mean, how and why?

Right? Instead her desire is to murder people standing in the street and sitting in the trucks!

I know some are posting about this, but what is the evidence that this is a coordinated right-wing attack? Why is this not reported in Canadian mainstream media?
Please send links. If these people are being fooled by some nefarious organizations akin to Nazis then this should be headline news in Ontario, but it is not.

This is not January 6.

People on the left at the very least understand the issue, and some sympathize or even support. There’s a growing gray area as more people become frustrated.
