what do skinny people eat in a day?

just wondering if anyone is willing to share.

depends on what you call skinny.

Try one of the 1000 threads about this already.

The answer is usually one of two things:

- very, very little because they have a disordered relationship with food (they may say they are never hungry, etc)

- a normal amount because they have a naturally fast metabolism and have always been thin (look at mothers/sisters to get a good indication)

Or somewhere in between the two, but still disordered because it is a cycle of binge and restriction.

5'4" and 113, yesterday's food

An orange and string cheese

Chicken with cheese ravioli and tomato cream sauce
Side salad with ranch

A lobster roll and a few potato chips
A brownie and a chocolate chip cookie
2 small glasses of wine

I have a fast metabolism and am also a nursing mom

Why do you need to know this, OP? What skinny people eat has nothing to do with you, unless you're already skinny.

If you're trying to be skinny, you need to eat below your maintenance. Period.

Or neither, and they eat well and work out.

A peach and small coffee

Kiwi, meatloaf and mashed potatoes

Chicken breast, rice, broccoli and an italian ice.

Lots of water.

I think it's just a fast metabolism and no real urge to eat / snack.

Breakfast - green smoothie

veggie pattie on whole wheat toast

Most people who eat healthily and work out aren't "skinny."

Let's see. Today I had

Individual Belvita cracker pack

2 cups coffee, coffee mate

Nectarine

English muffin with peanut butter

salted caramel Yasso yogurt

Not sure what I'll have for dinner - thinking about making chicken salad sandwiches.

A small dessert - under 300 calories

5'8", 125 lbs, and in early 40s

This is for yesterday:

Breakfast - oatmeal w/ peanut butter & almond milk, 3 slices of cantaloupe, 2 turkey sausage links

Morning snack - almonds, baby carrots & hummus

Pre-lunch meeting snack (b/c the people I was meeting with were stuck in traffic) - string cheese & more almonds

Lunch - some fried calamari from the appetizer, roast chicken salad, and 2 of the little fried donut/roll things (they picked Sweetwater Tavern for lunch)

Late afternoon snack - apple

Dinner - grilled chicken breast, grilled corn on the cobb, grilled asparagus, and watermelon/blueberry/feta salad

After dinner - leftover half of a Duck Donut & a glass of red wine

Today's breakfast was exactly the same and for lunch I had a salad from the Whole Foods salad bar and a leftover grilled chicken breast from dinner last night that I added to it.

Here's what I ate yesterday:
breakfast: oatmeal with milk, banana, butter, cinnamon, a plum
lunch: big salad with veggies, water
snack: a small handful of these: https://www.brooksidechocolate.com/en_us/snacks/goji-raspberry.html and a little baggie of carrots and green pepper, water
dinner: water, bulgar and cashew stuffed eggplant

I have a fast metabolism and also work out 5-6 days a week.

Skinny people (with regular metabolisms) only eat as much as their bodies need.
