what do skinny people eat in a day?

Protein. So they feel full and don't consume (or drink away) unnecessary fat and calories.

Your title should be "what exercise do skinny people do?" and post in the Fitness forum.

Whole fat fage yogurt with granola, a plum, a granola bar, home made rice and black beans for lunch. We will have tacos for dinner- white or corn tortillas, ground beef, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. I will probably eat 3 and have 1-2 beers.

OP. I'm skinny and alarmingly, lost 15 pounds (110 pounds. I'm 5'5") in three months due to debilitating anxiety and depression. Being treated now and feeling better and am eating rice with chick peas, then I'll enjoy some chocolate chip cookies with a protein drink. I'll not share my diet further, just wanted to advise that not all skinny people wish to be such.

Gaining weight is part of my recovery program. It's positively miserable and alarming to lack an appetite and/or have to force yourself to eat.

You probably aren't eating enough.

Coffee and ciggs

One thing I've noticed is that thin people tend to drink water and unsweet tea. Heavy people drink diet drinks. I think diet drinks teach your body to continue to crave sweet things.

I am overweight. I ran before work for 30 minutes.

Today I ate:

Two cups of black coffee, a bagel with smart balance butter substitute
A grilled chicken wrap

Dinner will be a salad, a protein and a starch.

I generally eat about 2200 calories a day and exercise 5 days a week. I am also in my 50s.

2200 calories? Are you trying to gain weight?

I eat between 2500 and 3500 calories depending upon my workout/day. I'm 5'3 111 and my body fat varies between 9 and 13% depending where I am in a training schedule.

Then you're probably very muscular (in a good way), not skinny.

Lol, this. You asked!

I also have coffee for breakfast, sometimes a small lunch or handful of nuts, and a small dinner of whatever the family is eating.
