Antisemitism is the world’s oldest hatred. But I have read that it is really about people—bullies—who are unhappy with their own lives and take out their frustrations on Jews. Jews are a target for people on both political extremes. |
Is this near the FBI Washington Field Office? |
No. |
This wasn't anti-semitism. They were targeted because they are Israeli Embassy officials. That is its own version of despicable hatred but it is an important distinction. |
It is normal and absolutely legitimate to assassinate foreign embassy employees according to Israel. Israel has the most moral army so their conduct sets the gold standard obviously. I was curious exactly how many assassinations done by Israel/Zionists are known and counted hundred plus victims but here are just a few of the many notable ones: - Jacob Israel Dahan, Jew who was assassinated because he was an anti-Zionist - Lord Moyne - British Minister - King David Bombing - 91 deaths, including many diplomates - British Embassy bombing - - Netanya Seargant's affair - Two British executed - Numerous PLO/FATA/PFLP employees - Rome Wales - Wider PLO representative and Libyan embassy employee - Mahmoud Hamshari - French PLO representative - Nicosia Hussain - Cyprus representative - Muhammad Buddia - Black September officer - Wadi Hadad - PFLP representative - Ali Salami - PLO representative - Faval Danny - PLO deputy director - Mamun Marish - PLO representative - Khalid Nazal - DFLP leader - Moonser Ghazala - PL official - Khalil Wazir - PL official - And of course the 17 killed in the bombing in Damascus |
Having once been the victims of genocide, one would assume that the Jewish people would be more sensitive about perpetrating one. Alas, the only result has been a persistent belief that Jewish people are victims, incapable of committing atrocities. It’s unspeakably sad. |
Looks like many of you were whey wrong. Elias Rodriguez was from Chicago and was member of a far left socialist group. He made campaign donations to Biden in 2020. His views aligned with Hamas and he had Muslim countries l over his social media. |
I'm just an old boomer, but back in my day, if someone shot a diplomat of a violent, racist apartheid state, that made you the hero of Lethal weapon 2. |
Don't try and justify this. Those kids were low level flunkies. Just glorified interns getting the drop down invite. They did not deserve to be killed and had no impact on anything that's going on. But more importantly, there is no way to condone political assasination. Definitely not in my home town and definitely not from American citizens. FFS I don't want India assasinating Sikhs in DC. I don't want China assasinating Hong Kongers in DC. I don't want Russia assasinating Ukrainians in DC. I don't want Turkey assasinating Gulanists in DC. I don't want Israel assasinating Palestinians in DC. And I for damnnsure don't want random American citizens with a saviour complex assasinating Israelis in DC. |
Your wants seem awfully quaint while tens of thousands of innocent people have been and continue to be slaughtered by the employers of these two individuals. I’m opposed to violence - wherever it occurs, not just when it’s in my backyard and I start to feel uncomfirtable. |
No assassination should be condoned. Ever. Absolutely horrific. There is no positive to side to any assassination. And Israel carrying out a genocide on thousands of times more people in Gaza is horrific times many thousands. |
Same here. We shouldn't accept the standard practices of Israel assassinating civilian targets be it diplomats, doctors and Healthcare workes, ambassadors, civil servants, police, etc. Even it is was a IDF soldier who left this country to assist with genocide up until last year. |
Does none believe the FBI or DOJ? They do not have much credibility right now. |
|
How could he have known they were embassy officials? That part seems unclear |
