Copper mine youngers hosted all the pre ga clubs for scrimmages and then threw out there “future ECNL club GFR”.

Not sure if they meant ECRL

Girls are getting recruited more than boys. That's the goal, so not sure why clubs switch the girls. If you're looking for a club that puts girls first go to Arlington. Although in a few years if the clubs that have MLS next leave their girls ecnl to play GA, then GA will start to get better and be top league for girls.

Not sure seniors will leave....

Any word about the boys program?

Stop the nonsense. Why be an a** just to be an a**? The coaches include former Brave coaches and former VA Union coaches. That’s remains true and will remain true. Strong coaching slate, strong players. Check out the standings and see how many remain in contention.

Yes and they will be stronger players coming in now too. The new FVU will not be the Brave of before. With less ECNL options FVU’s stock just went up.

That depends on the staff.

Not on the boys side they didn't. And therein lies the rub. They have been trying to fix the boys side for years and nothing about any of these changes helps the boys side at all. In fact, the remaining boys are likely to now follow their buddies to MLS Next and ARL and further deplete the teams.

They already are ECRL. I think some one is misinterpreting Pre-ECNL which is sometimes in teams titles when they only have an RL options. GFR fits that mold. ECNL is not growing in this area except in MoCo when BSC goes GA. A new alliance based in Potomac will be the new ECNL club. I would not be surprised to see GFR involved with that.

THAT’S PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Coaching slate is the top priority.

It’s a bit concerning that this information hasn’t been released yet. Second guessing and disorganization are the first things that come to mind.

Have any ECNL clubs in the DMV released coaching slates for next season? I think not.

How many ECNL clubs in the DMV have this much baggage? Are you suggesting these clubs have coaches all meet up and release their coaching slates at the exact same time? This situation here is very unique.

This actually makes sense since the post was of 2015 teams set to enter pre-ECNL next year.

MYS will kick FVU off their fields.

Right not going to kick off players you want to retain. Dumb post. Still have commitment to finish the year. Grow up
