Rousing?!? Was the highlight when he adopted Trump’s priority of getting NATO countries to pay their fair share? Or when he needed a uniformed official ensuring he exited the stage?

It was a solid speech. True, it was on a teleprompter. But at least he still attracts enough talent to have good speechwriters. Most of those who worked with Trump ended up in prison - Steve Bannon, Paul Manafort, Peter Navarro, Roger Stone, Rick Gates, Michael Cohen, Allen Weisselberg, and so on. Or ended up in bankruptcy - Rudy Giuliani. I'm sure there are others. So at least there's that. Biden attracts and hires genuine talent. Whereas Trump attracts and hires criminals.

Or maybe the Democrats think that throwing your opponents in jail is a perk of being in power. They would have done it to Trump, too, if he wasn’t a billionaire very capable of defending himself.

How about you don’t break the law? I guess you don’t believe in accountability. Have you ever heard Trump admit to making a mistake? It’s fake news or a witch hunt.

Let me know when one-man crime wave Hunter Biden goes to jail.

Hunter Biden isn’t running for president.

Hunter Biden is unelected President right now pulling his father's strings. A literal crack head is running the presidency right now.

+1 another insane situation democrats ignore or defend.

I think the DNC is pressuring for the down ballot candidates recognizing the presidential election is a lost cause. They know there are a lot of voters like you.

The DNC isn’t involved in down ballot, that’s DCCC and DLCC. Learn who does what before spouting off nonsense.

Why would you want to hand the House and Senate to the Republicans, just because you don't want to vote for Biden? That makes no sense at all to any thinking Democrat. Why wouldn't you want Trump to have any checks and balances? It's already a given that a Republican-majority House and Senate will just rubberstamp everything Trump wants.

Because the Democrats are telling the world "we are a bunch of clowns we are a bunch of clowns we are a bunch of clowns we are a bunch of clowns"

You’re the one spouting off nonsense. Here’s just one example of DNC involving itself in down ballot initiatives.

If Biden stays, we will lose the White House, the House and the Senate.

And perhaps, hopefully, the Democrats will have learned a lesson in strategy: that people will stay home rather than vote for a physically weak candidate.

It's not that people will switch allegiance from Biden to Trump. No. People have already largely made up their minds on that. It's that many, many people will be disgusted at the hubris and arrogance of the Biden circle, and just won't show up to support such people.

Turnout is what matters. Biden is generating revulsion and is actively decreasing voters' motivation every day he stays in the race.

With another candidate, we have a fighting chance. Are Democrats courageous enough to take it?

Exactly. I’d rather take a leap of faith with another nominee, ANYONE really.

He isn’t going to step down. Bidens ego is huge . He is Trumps Match. That’s why he did so well during the 2020 debate. Unfortunately, he longer has the bluster and gusto he once had. He’s minimized and prone to faint whispers and deep gazes these days . Soon enough, he’ll be mumbling jibberish and drooling on stage too. It looks like Hunter and Jill don’t care too. They want to ride this gig till the wheels fall off

You do see that Dems are saying things like “I’d rather vote for a corpse over Trump”?

They have an incredible amount of hatred, despite the oft-repeated catch phrases about love and acceptance and diversity. Chickens, welcome to your roost.

Is he still with his late brother’s wife /his sister in law?

My favorite Hunter story is Hunter admitting he used to smoke crack with former DC mayor Marion Barry at a Georgetown bar to a guy who was secretly recording him. 😂 . This guy is incredible. He knows everyone and talks to everyone and leaves his belongings everywhere he goes without any regard and yet his father called him the smartest man he knows lol. Hunter is running the country along with Jill

Professional? Journalists in newsrooms talk all the freaking time to anyone in passing . It could be a makeup artist
Or cameraman he told or a colleague or janitor. The possibilities are endless

Stephanopoulos just interviewed Biden and thus the public believes he is well placed to provide insight into his competency. Despite being well aware of the significance of the issue, Stephanopoulos responds to a random passerby on the street, who is recording with his phone, that he questions Biden's ability to serve four years. The passerby then forwards to TMZ who posts it for all to see. Sure that happens all the time. Lol.

I didn’t know there was audio on TMZ . Yeah that definitely seems intentional. Dems always eat their own (circular firing squad) so I’m not surprised by this but honestly , Biden deserves to be pushed out. Give Jill and Joe their money and book deal and tell them to hit the road . How will Biden even be able to make a speech at the convention! He’s glitching all the time now. I just don’t see how he’s electable at all in anyone’s mind . There still are a few debates left that are closer to Election Day in the fall. This is such a disaster . He would rather leave in humiliation than put country and party first and resign from office or at least resign from being the party nominee . He is awful for this. He originally ran in 2020 with the claim he was only seeking one term in office as a transition candidate . Now, he wants to stay even though he can barely talk or walk without impairment . He is awful. Always was but now he’s worse

Why is the media trying to get a corrupt New York con man elected, a man who is a convicted felon, who is older than Biden was when Biden got elected, who has a sharply declining mind as evidenced by his frequent incoherent rambling and slurred speech, who is propped up by Project 2025 authoritarians who want to wreck democracy and strip away decades of progress environmental protections, worker and consumer product safety protections, social safety nets and so many other things, who would just as soon put journalists in jail or shut their outlets down if they dare speak the truth about him?

Because you are not normal but hysterical. You don't "save democracy" by abusing democracy and running rough over it and weaponizing the courts to turn your opponent into a felon. All these actions are why Trump is most likely going to be president again, put into power by voters who are saving democracy from people like you.

The bolded is what's hysterical and deranged. Trump is in fact a criminal and a con man. Has been for years, and long before he even entered politics. You aren't "saving democracy" by voting for Trump, you are undermining democracy. History (J6, fake electors, et cetera) already shows otherwise. It's astounding that anyone could insult our intelligence by claiming otherwise, and the audacity of your preachy tone while telling such bald-faced lies is jawdropping.

lol.
