I actually think MH is very intelligent. Uninhibited and impulsive and “chaos + revelry” - yes, but also deep, sensitive and smart. And he is pretty well off, so my guess is that the ring is great.

Or maybe he is actually in love with someone else who is a better fit. He certainly spent more time with her than he did with Taylor.

Gabriette is a person, too, you now. Just because she it not as famous or accomplished, doesn't mean she is not special or men won't fall in love with her.

Not everything revolves around Taylor. He has clearly moved on and I expect him to start family soon. Taylor needs to figure out Travis and, if he is not "the one" move on from that quickly as well. She has no time to waste pursuing random fantasies from her youth.
