where is Prep, they played last year? Prep brings back their entire team.

have fun playing ireton, o'connell, and ryken.

They play the best in the IAC and St. Anthony’s who is better than Prep. Nice try. Have fun playing St. James, St. Albans, Episcopal and Landon. 🥴

You need to ask the Prep administration that question. They told the coach he wasn’t playing SJC this year. Apparently they have lost some players to SJC they felt they should have at Prep and they blame the recent results on the field. SJC would have handled them again. Like they have the last 4 or 5 times they have played.

Why do we keep assuming school choice is dictated by the success of the lacrosse team?

So let me get this straight... the GP administration would not allow Coach Urick who is a friend of Wes Speaks (they played on the same High School team in Fairfax county back in the day) to schedule a game with St John's this Spring?

Is the GP administration that involved with athletic affairs at Prep ---- that seems rather bizarre.

I'd rather play the teams listed above than play Bishop McNamara, Ireton, O'Connell, Good Counsel, and Saint Mary's Ryken (the bottom half of the WCAC is just bad lacrosse), Wes knows he doesn't have nearly the same squad as he did last year and it shows in their schedule this Spring. Where is McDonogh or Saint Mary's?

SJC and Prep will be fine. It is strange that those 2 teams are not playing, the coaches are good friends and former teammates.

School choice is often dictated by $$$$. SJC just has more money available for financial aid and scholarships. Maybe Prep admin does not like the way SJC conducts business.

SJC has MORE MONEY than PREP? Interesting. DON’T tell the stuck up parents at Prep. They will lose it.

💯 percent correct. They told coach he will not play SJC this year.

SJC allows for more $$$ for financial aid and scholarships than Prep!!!

(SJC parents vs Prep parents income is not part of this discussion.)

Will it depends on the player. Neither is giving money to scrub players but if they really want you they will equally provide funds to get your kid. Prep is
Day Student Tuition: $42,190
Resident Tuition: $69,365 (US)

MUCH MORE THAN SJC. So when they give money to 1 player SJC can give to 2.5 players. Big difference.

Dumb decision as they have a good chance to beat St. Johns this year after losing to them the last few times.

💯 percent correct. They told coach he will not play SJC this year.

Unfortunately those are league teams. I’d say 3 of the 5 would smoke any IAC team in football and 4 of the 5 in basketball. You got to take the good with the bad. What other sports is the IAC good in? Boys field hockey?

Well, the IAC is overwhelmingly better at academics, so there's that...

This is hilarious. Do better next time. Which three of those WCAC teams would smoke any IAC team in football? Remember, they often play each other and scores are easily found. Nice try though. It certainly sounded like a great post when you were typing it, I'm sure.
