Would you date someone that had a felony record? The relevant facts:
First conviction was 20 years ago when person was a young adult. Convicted of armed robbery; sentenced to 10 years, served 3. Second conviction was 15 years later. Convicted of DWI, hit and run (property damage), evading police, assaulting police. Sentenced to and served 9 months. No question of guilt in either case. If your answer is yes or maybe, would your answer change if you had kids? |
| Never either way. |

Hahhhaha!!
No. |
| So the last conviction was 5 years ago? |
|
Please don't even think about it
Especially if you have children |
| No. |
| Nope! |
| No. I dated an ex-felon and it didn't end well. He didn't tell me he had been in jail until a few weeks after we met and his facade was just that. He was doing crack while trying to hold down job as personal trainer. |
| No. |

How the hell do you even meet someone like that? Upgrade your social circle.
Also, no, no, no, HELL NO. |
| No |
| No. Just no. Not everyone is worth your time or a date. |
| Only if I was a convicted felon. Otherwise no. |

From someone who has dated two, my answer is a Huge NO (!!)
Reason being is that these guys are complete losers overall. They have anger issues and are typically mentally unstable. Plus their record prevents them from getting any suitable employment. Many work as janitors, construction workers & tow truck operators. They are usually on drugs, pathological liars and abusive in some form. They also do not have good relations w/their family. |
| Do you even need to ask? |
