My close girlfriend confided she has been seeing a co-workers number on his cell phone over the past 2 years. He uses his cell phone for work to, so it could be innocent. However, she's seen 6-25 minutes duration of the calls. He also makes many calls from his office, so he could be talking to her more often. A couple weeks ago she saw a text on his phone. He texted the woman saying he was at her office. Whereby she responded, "ok I'm on my way back now".
The thing is he does have legitimate work over there because there are 4 facilities he travels back and fourth to. We looked her up from her phone number and found out she lives only 5 minutes away and she's single. The text was 9:45 in the morning. Is it possible they are going to her house for an affair? He would be going in her car most likely. He cheated on her many years ago, but she gave him another chance. Now they are set financially, it would be a big hit to divorce. They are also close to retirement. If I could I'd go over there and spot check her house during those times, but I can't. My friend works far away, and can't do that during the day. Also, we are thinking it's a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly thing if he is cheating. We don't have friends that could do it, and a PI would be too expensive. She is really bothered by this, and wants to put it to rest. How on earth would you catch someone if they are cheating during the day, and sporadically? |
| If she can get ahold of his cell she can check the location history on it and see exactly where he is. |
Yes she can. Where do you find location history? |
|
If they were having sex at her house, then why wouldn't he just drive to her house? Why would he drive to her office and text her?
I've texted colleagues and people I'm meeting with when I arrive at their office and they aren't there to greet me. NBD. I've had 25 minute calls with male colleagues---particularly when commuting home from work (it's called multitasking). |
| Sounds like a LOT of baseless speculation. When I satarted reading the sentence about the specific text I was expecting something much more salacious than "ok I'm on my way back now." Realllllyyyyy???? She needs a hobby to occupy her mind. |
|
She HAS a hobby.
And you're reading about it here. |
He has a work vehicle with big letters on it. People have been busted before from their work vehicle located where it shouldn't be. She doesn't have a work vehicle, possibly why they would use hers. She would not be someone he would need to talk at length with. Most of his calls are from the people he supervises. A pattern she's noticed with this one woman fyi. |
| Well, I think his behavior seems normal but maybe you are not giving us all the details about what's going on. Why is she suspicious? Is there anything else besides the calls or texts from a co worker? What made her think that he is cheating? |
I'm not sure myself, you could be right. It's a little more than what I posted. Apparently the sex dropped off which he rarely initiates. Once a month? Also, she said 2 years ago he was shaving...yes down there. I would have done something 2 years ago, but she let it go. She recently told me, but I'm thinking that location history is something she can easily do. Imo once someone cheats there's never trust. |
| If there is never trust, time to leave. |
| And if you're thinking or planning to cheat it's time to leave! |
This. |
| Use Taskrabbit to hire someone to check it out. |
| This sounds like none of your business and you should stay out of it. |

9:45 am isn't a good time to sneak off to you AP's house. It's too obvious to your boss when you aren't there at 10 am.
I would be concerned with the texts that happened around 730 (could still be in before 9), or around lunchtime. |
