Healthy high protein on the go breakfast for kids

Anonymous
My daughter is leaving so early in the morning that I need a quick breakfast she can eat in the car but that also has protein - she isn't a huge fan of breakfast sandwiches - I've googled and haven't found anything super appealing in my baking adventures

I make muffins with Kodiak Cake mix. Simply add an egg, butter, bananas, chocolate chips, and cinnamon. My kids love them for breakfast/snacks, and it keeps them full.

Egg muffins

Baked oatmeal bars with almond meal, eggs, and flax

smoothies made with greek yogurt

peanut butter-oat balls (just mix those two things with a little honey and roll into balls)

Cake mix doesn't exactly correlate to a high protein breakfast.

Egg cups or nuts and cheese, hard boiled eggs, all things my kids like.

NP. Kodiak is quite high in protein and fiber, which keep a kid full. The carbs provide them fuel. The added butter ( I would use oil in cooking and add butter to the warm muffin) is good day. The bananas are a fruit and filling!
The chocolate is for fun!

Seems good to me.

Why would you comment if you don't know what it is? It's a high protein pancake mix. What's the problem?

This is the first I'm hearing of Kodiak cake mix and it sounds interesting. Is it readily available at grocery stores?

I'm really lazy with breakfast - we do Greek yogurt in a reusable pouch, hard boiled eggs, peanut butter toast, plus fruit, chia pudding, and oatmeal.

It's whole wheat flour, oat flour and honey and some egg whites. Then chocolate and bananas are added- if someone is truly looking for a high protein breakfast this isn't it
