+1. It is pretty amusing. How many times have they claimed to be victimized since their wedding day? By how many different people and organizations? The BRF as a whole, the press, the “racist” family member they won’t identify, the staff who accused Meghan of bullying. The list goes on and on. And how many different jobs are they currently attempting? Podcasters, TV hosts/producers, investors in coffee businesses, executives at mental health start ups. It’s chaotic. They just seem kind of lost.

No, they seem like a boss ass couple. Sorry you and your hubby with your federal jobs can't relate.

My husband and I aren’t perfect, but if I were suicidal, he wouldn’t refuse to help me out of embarrassment. What a terrible partner.

I don't know the inner workings of their marriage, how that conversation came to be, etc. I do understand suicidal thoughts and, even with that, I can only imagine how that scenario went down. Either way, I'm glad they're both in better mental spaces.

Hopefully he has learned from his major mistake. She could have died because he found her mental health struggles embarrassing. Just awful.

Titles are his, by birth. No less his than any of the other made up titles they honor.

I understand that's why he still HAS titles. What I am asking is why are they still using them publicly if they despirse so much the institution the titles represent.

H&M: "The BRF is toxic and racist and hates us."
Also H&M: "Please call us by our BRF titles at all times."

So you believe her now? Glad to see it. #TeamMeghan

Again, cause they're his. May have associations that tie to his identity, despite the flawed system. Not my decision to judge. Or yours.

It reeks of insincerity and childish tantrums.

Agreed. It was childish of Charles to cut off their security. It was insincere power move that massively backfired. Charles miscalculated that if he pulled their security it would force them back under whatever terms he dictated.

Boy did end up being immature and tone deaf.

DP. How many of you grown adults still expect your parents to pay your expenses and get upset if they won’t? It seems like there are quite a few of you. I find it a bit pathetic.

Agreed. The BRF gambled but they were dealing with a new Harry. Whatever happens with them as a couple, I'm glad that he's grown into himself as a man. I think his Mom would be proud.

His mom was suicidal once too. So I doubt she’d be proud that Harry was too embarrassed to help his suicidal wife.

I just wanted to add, I do not find dignity in silence. I find dignity in truth, sincerity and honesty. If H&M felt this interview was necessary to shine a light on the problem of racism that exists within not just the BRF, the press, etc but the UK as a whole, well: good for them.

Complaining is when you stay within the system, reap its benefits and yet hold resentment and speak on it often (some of you married ladies can relate). H&M are not complainers, IMO. They said their piece. Now, moving on to boss moves and philanthropy (cause, if you're Royal, at least be of some benefit and do that)...

He probably felt he'd failed as a husband, protector. If his Dad, brother, etc were not confidantes, I can imagine him not wanting to reveal this vulnerability to them. It's a shame and may speak to just how disconnected they all were. I've never been in this position so can't speak on it. Don't really know how Harry views his Mom death, his Dad's cheating, etc. So, all very intricate stuff.

They aren’t dealing with Harry at all. Everyone can see this.

Except they did not shine a light. No individual was mentioned as the perpetrator of this "racism" and the claim has been angrily and vehemently rebutted by Prince William. End of story.

I am new to this thread. Can someone please explain to my why they are insisting Americans call them by their British titles? We're not part of the Commonwealth. It doesn't matter here, we don't care. Am I missing something?

Charles cut off their security because they're no longer working members of the BRF. "Working members of the BRF" are the only group of people who get BRF-funded security. Harry and Meghan quit to establish financial independence, which should allow them to pay for their own.

Also, it's unclear why you're assuming Charles wanted them back as working members of the family. There are several stories out there, going back years, indicating that both Harry and Meghan were incredibly difficult and self-centered (delusionally so, in the hierarchical structure of the BRF). The British public doesn't like her much either. I'm sure Charles has personal affection for them in their capacity as his son and DIL, but professionally, the BRF was probably glad to see them leave.

And the claim was hearsay- Meghan said that Harry said that someone speculated about the color of the baby’s skin. Meghan wasn’t there- she has no idea what was actually said, what the context was or whether this actually happened or not. Given that she outright lied about her wedding and twisted the reasoning for Archie’s not getting a title he wasn’t entitled to in this same interview, I’m not sure how much weight her claim carries. While we can all speculate whether racism exists in the BRF, we know for a fact that Harry is just as guilty (if not more) of having a racist past as some of his relatives. We’ve never seen William in a nazi costume or refer to Middle Easterners as ragheads. These two just keep looking more and more hypocritical.

You can call them whatever you want. Their official partners call them the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Because they need to remind us that they're members of the BRF - that's the only mystique they have. The titles are what gets them the Netflix/Spotify deals and are why anyone cares what they have to say at all. Like many PPs have pointed out, it's funny that they quit the BRF under such allegedly toxic circumstances but refuse to stop using the titles. Makes you wonder.

Its interesting how well Harry has come out in all of this. His popularity is as high as ever - probably because the public sees he has balls? He's a loyal and faithful husband. He also has a 'normal' job like the public.
