I'm in Arlington and they often get players unhappy with ASA that don't want to drive too far.

Oh sure I've seen some PAC teams play -- didn't know they were considered a Falls Church team. Bill Hamid is a product of PAC. I think Hamid's father or uncle founded the club?

It is a small club. Different feel from a big club like arlington, and will suit some people better.

Yes, it's Hamid's father, Sully. It's a small club (a few travel teams, no House) that picks up people who fell through the cracks in Vienna or Arlington, or people who just want a different environment. Registered as Falls Church, but some teams practice at Luther Jackson MS, just like the Vienna teams.

Certainly worth considering if you don't live too far away and want to check out an alternative.

How many teams in an age group?

We are looking for a club with no more than two teams per age group. Bigger clubs seen to dilute the talent. There just becomes way too many kids to get any individual attention.

Just looking at the website, it depends on the gender and year. For boys, it ranges from 1-3 teams.

I'm not the person you quoted but you might consider Capital FC. I think one of their age groups might have 3 teams but the rest have only 1 or 2. It's a newer club, think it's been around 10 years. https://capitalfc.org/

Capital FC is a very nice club.

The reputation of some clubs around here is in the toilet because of adults' behavior like this (if you spend any time in travel soccer you know exactly which clubs they are), yet parents still sign their kids up knowing that, so I guess it really doesn't matter in the end to some parents if they are teaching kids good sportsmanship and fair play. I'd rather my player develop and love the game and be a respectful person than be a superstar with some of the awful attitudes that I saw on Twitter from club heads!

Re Kephern Fuller and Twitter spats, here's a thinly veiled attack on him from Beau Dure writing for soccerwire.com:

He said on both Twitter and PSW that the article was a composite of various area soccer practice, and some of the things in there don't sound like anything that JOGA does.

That being said, I would love to see both Dure and Fuller do an Ask Me Anything thread here. That would be interesting!
