agreed. It is maddening watching the press taking his delusions seriously. |
Speaking of taking his delusions seriously...this guy better not try to run for anything again in the future. He is aiding and abetting the madness. |
Exactly, Republicans aren't going to do squat to save the US. |
Why would he, he is not born in the US, is he? According to MAGA, he is not a citizen. |

I am 55 years old and my father is in his late 90s. When he was a young enlisted soldier in the US Army he spent a year or so assigned to one of the several US military bases on Greenland. The whole time I was growing up we had a map of Greenland on the wall of our living room it was part of a special certificate my father was awarded for his service on Greenland - it wasn’t an easy assignment because it was quite obviously more remote than any other military bases to which young American soldiers are routinely assigned in peacetime.
We had at one point 17 military bases on Greenland, and the Greenlanders and Danes were entirely okay with that. WE chose to shut them down to where we now have only one remaining. Undoubtedly the Greenlanders and Danes would be happy to let us increase our presence again, if it was really about security - we were there in the first place because of the Cold War. Trump is an uneducated and deeply stupid human being, hands down the worst who has ever resided at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. |
Are you 12? Your evidence for "you're a moron"? Please, let's see you support this idea that Europe is not willing to defend itself from a crazy would-be dictator who's pissed at Norway for not giving him the Nobel Peace Prize. Let's hear it. |
|
europe is moving troops to greenland and ha threatened to blow up the US economy by dumping trillions of dollars in US bonds on to the market.
Trump is a moron and he is doing a great job of serving his russian and chinese masters. |
Yeah, if you can figure out how to do this, I'll give YOU my Nobel Peace Prize. |
Please explain this. I am unaware of how much US debt European countries hold. How does this work? |
But what are the consequences for the Europeans if they do this? If it's so catastrophic for the US, how will this happen? Will it put enough pressure on the Trumpers? The news this morning is so, so horrifying. NYT says Trump wants Greenland because he didn't get the Nobel?!?!?!? And this man is a "leader"? I can't begin to comprehend educated people supporting this demented lunatic!! WTF??? |
The U.S. owes European entities roughly $2 trillion to over $2.5 trillion in Treasury securities, with significant holdings by the UK (around $700B-$800B), Luxembourg (hundreds of billions), France (hundreds of billions), and other countries like Belgium and Ireland, making European nations major holders of U.S. debt alongside Japan and China. Go to war MAGA cult of stupidity |
The other thing to understand is that the US dollar acting as the world's reserve currency lends the economy significant stability. Losing that loses the US a tremendous amount of power and economic safety. |
And considering some of his predecessors, that's saying something. It's not just stupidity however, it's dementia on top of his pre-existing malignant narcissism. I know it's not done to share armchair diagnoses, but this has been floated around for many years now and he's been checking all the boxes, in a highly visible manner, since he's the President. There is little doubt that he has that profile. |

Trump tells Norway's PM that he is s going after Greenland because he didn't win the Nobel PP! Trump is a maglamaniac and he must be stopped. After watching Face the Nation yesterday with the SEC. Of Treasury defending DOJ's investigation of Powell, it is alarmingly apparent that his cabinet of lemmings are prepared to follow trump over the cliff. Bissent claimed creating an emergency to forestall another potential emergency is a smart move!

The man is absolutely deranged. It's time for the 25th Amendment. 1. Greenland is Denmark, not Norway. Denmark has nothing to do with the Nobel prize 2. Norway is merely the country which hosts the awards, in Oslo City Hall. And the Norwegian government does not directly select recipients, that's done by an independent committee. |
