And considering some of his predecessors, that's saying something. It's not just stupidity however, it's dementia on top of his pre-existing malignant narcissism. I know it's not done to share armchair diagnoses, but this has been floated around for many years now and he's been checking all the boxes, in a highly visible manner, since he's the President. There is little doubt that he has that profile.
