You don’t get to just throw those out because of some bad polls. Bush senior was down 17 points to Dukakis after the 1988 Dem convention and we know how that turned out. The time to promote Biden alternatives was the primary.

There was no realistic alternative during the primary, because voters were not informed of the extent of Biden's impairment.
This is acknowledged by most people, PP. I know you're posting everywhere trying to persuade others that Biden should be the nominee, but that option disappeared the night of the debate. He was done then, he just didn't know it. It appears you are delusional like he is. This is not a donor class problem. No one except you and a small number of morons want to stick with Biden.

If you didn’t know about Biden’s impairment, you need to scrap all of your news sources. Seriously. They left you completely misinformed.

DP. I watched the debate. I don't watch CNN or CSPAN and hadn't seem any video of Biden in person in month and months.

I was shocked. He is past the time of taking grandpa's keys away. He cannot be the presidential candidate. And I do not think well of AOC to say that he should be.

It leaves such a bad taste in my mouth that people are piling on Biden (and none if it is with any deference or respect toward him as the sitting POTUS, or any kindness whatsoever, but just nasty ageism and meanness about people with declining mental faculties), and when Trump rambles like a fool, they just shrug and say "Well, we KNOW he's crazy and he's always been incompetent and horrible, so it's different". It's wrong when the majority bullies a decent person to protect themselves from the really bad bully. It's wrong in middle school and it's wrong in this case too. I don't know what the solution is, but it's not this. You deserve Trump, and you're going to get him either way.

No no no you dont get to drop “ageism”. This is BEYOND his age. We all knew how numerically old he is.

What we didnt know (because its been hidden) is the extent of his decline in the last 2 years. That deception is what we are all livid about.

How do you explain the recent appearances when he was sharp and articulate? Still livid? Are you livid about the fact that Regan barely knew his own name for half of his presidency?
You're all just desperate for drama, Biden had a bad debate and you're running with it. The day after the debate, he was "out of it". Two weeks later, people are calling him a "vegetable".

The decline has been going on for years. I knew it. You didn’t know about it because your news sources covered for him.

Here's the decline that has been going on for years, and YOU and the media and everyone on the right is covering for him pretending nothing's happening.
Trump's brain is fried, half the time he talks complete gibberish, can't even follow a coherent thought from one minute to the next. His mental decline is far worse than Biden's and anyone who bothers to actually try and sit and listen to him speak can see it plain as day.

It's elder abuse for the GOP to be putting that mental invalid Donald Trump on stage. He needs to step down.

Wholeheartedly agree. Add MSM and I’m disgusted. Can you imagine how Biden feels? The disrespect and disloyalty toward our sitting President is the one thing that’s broken my heart. In all the years of chaos and Trump never ending depravity, the treatment of Biden is what's left me in tears. Obama, Schiff, Pelosi— shame and on them. They should have rallied around Biden, respected his privacy and dignity, made a single public statement, and deliberated privately. They then turned on Harris!

Remember, Biden is the one who said⬇️

It’s time for us to stop treating politics like entertainment and reality TV.

The days of failed trickle-down economics are over.

My first hundred days of a second term is going to continue to be all about working people of this nation.

Unlike Donald Trump, I don’t work for Big Oil. I don’t work for Big Pharma. I don’t work for the National Rifle Association.

I work for you, the American people.

Whatever.

I'm tired of weirdos defending Trump or Biden. These two old people need to go, one because he's senile and nasty, the other because he's senile and weak.

The best way we can ensure that is to elect Harris in 2024.

And even if that perfect candidate exists, why wouldn’t they hold their fire and plan for a 2028 run instead of going against Trump? For all his faults he did just survive a horrific attempt on his life and surely gets some sympathy votes. He’ll be gone soon enough and 2028 offers a clean slate rather than this mess.
I like Harris

I like the way she completely deflects from the question Anderson is asking her, and doesn't address it at all - other than to call Biden "strong."

That could be a plan if Trump were not a felon who is planning to destroy the US.

If you're going to get rid of Biden you need to have a coherent plan with some data. Polling to show who it's going to be, to beat Trump, especially in the battleground states. If not then perhaps you're as much in mental decline as you say Biden is.

As for the Republicans, Trump is their dumpster fire.

We cannot afford another 4 years of Trump.

Harris isn't getting elected. Everyone knows that.
I think forcing Biden out is terrible, but if they're going to go there, they might as well replace him with someone who can win. Witmer/Buttigieg or something.

I agree with this. Heard that polling shows the public feels misled by democrats who are still backing Biden. The gaslighting is incredible.

Well, get ready. That's what's probably coming.

We can’t worry about how Biden feels. This is about what’s best for the country, not his ego.

Is that satire?

That's what I liked too. She laid out why this election matters so much better than anyone else I've heard lately.

I don’t believe anyone spewing the crap that Biden was pushed aside for Hillary. He didn’t want to run because Beau had just died.

I do believe it. Biden always trusted Obama and he was the one who told Biden to take more time to mourn his son. I believe Biden would have won. I voted for Obama. Recently, I think he’s arrogant and he’s allegedly one of the first to advise Biden to step down. Their so called friendship was one sided. Always felt like he looked down on Biden.

Obama ain’t a kingmaker, he is a midwit puppet high on his own supply.

Thanks for laugh. I like you.
