Beau died of cancer that he likely got because of exposure while serving. Quit trying to out-trauma them. Yes, it’s childish. |
If you haven't lost two children , as Joe Biden has, then shut up because you have no idea how you would say or do if your child died. |
My God but you are stupid. There really should be an IQ minimum to post on DCUM or, at minimum, knowledge of what you are talking about! |
Wow! I bet Mrs. Biden is devastated and cries a quarter of a tear out if her right eye every night because you are losing respect for her! NOT!!!!!!!! |
I know I would let traumatized people talk about what happened to THEM rather than constantly bringing my own trauma up, again and again. Get a clue. |
Hi, Jill. Please take care of your husband by insisting he resign. The sooner the better. |
Google empathy. You must be young. Because only Gen z thinks empathy is selfish. |
No. You would cry and moan and expect everyone you know to feel sorry for you. |
They really don't know what causes Glioblastoma. My brother in law also passed from Glioblastoma. My brother in law also served in the Army and did three tours in Afghanistan. He was told cell phone use from talking on his cell phone all the time could have been the cause. The reality is though, no one knows what causes Glioblastoma. Beau did not die in a war in battle. |
A Military Member who is killed in action and a Veteran dying from a service connected cancer are not the same. The VA only allows Vets who have service connected cancers to be rated while undergoing cancer treatment. Once they are “cured” they are dropped to zero and have to fend for themselves. I know Vets who were diagnosed with a service connected cancer who applied for help from the VA. These Vets have had life changing surgery, chemo, radiation, and the VA STILL hasn’t helped them. Why? The onerous bureaucracy of the VA. My VSO said many Vets die from their eventual service connected cancer before the VA adjudicates their cases and grants cancer stricken Vets the help they need. They actually die before the VA processes their application. It takes years for a VA application to be processed. Some Vets with service connected cancers are initially denied and have to submit paperwork for a higher level review. Guess how long that takes? Time cancer stricken Vets do not have. At all. If Biden understands the tragedy of Vets with cancer, how about he fixes the VA? Men and women like his son are dying and not even being approved for the benefits and healthcare they earned because of extensive paperwork and VA bureaucracy. They and their families suffer greatly. Biden understands that suffering so personally but only talks about his son dying, and the other people just like his son don’t even receive the help they need in time to receive VA treatment and benefits. It’s very hard to hear Biden constantly talking about his son and how he suffered and his family suffered, while people in the exact situation, who need help, aren’t getting it. If he did something besides talk, that would be great. |
I have a service connected cancer. It was caused by my exposure to toxic substances during my service in Southeast Asia. I don’t think you have anything of substance or significance to add to this topic. You are aggressively awful. You should be ashamed of yourself. |
The PACT Act has allowed Vets to make claims for their cancers and the VA has a list they will allow service connection for: We’ve added more than 20 burn pit and other toxic exposure presumptive conditions based on the PACT Act. This change expands benefits for Gulf War era and post-9/11 Veterans. These cancers are now presumptive: Brain cancer Gastrointestinal cancer of any type Glioblastoma Head cancer of any type Kidney cancer Lymphoma of any type Melanoma Neck cancer of any type Pancreatic cancer Reproductive cancer of any type Respiratory (breathing-related) cancer of any type https://www.va.gov/resources/the-pact-act-and-your-va-benefits/#:~:text=We've%20added%20more%20than,Brain%20cancer If a Service Member served in certain areas, at certain timeframes, the VA will admit a service connection. The problem is that Vets have to submit their paperwork- while undergoing cancer treatment- and the VA taking months /years to approve the connection. Biden should make sure Vets suffering cancer have an expedited process when dealing with the VA. Tell your bil about the PACT Act and tell him to apply at the VA for a service connection. |
Not deflecting at all but responding to the double standards for so many criticisms placed here against Biden … |

He is a registered independent and judicial centrist - the salient point was that MG was not a liberal darling but a compromise candidate as he had a lot of Republican support early on - many liberals were disappointed when Obama nominated him and many people were surprised when senate republicans rejected him Hurt is a registered Republican and Garland probably should have tried harder to find a more centrist special counsel. |
