The documents in question were revealed through discovery in the criminal case and were placed on the docket on May 21.

Even if I believe this, so what? These were classified documents, some containing potentially sensitive national security information, which Trump had *repeatedly refused* to turn over. Keep in mind that Trump had just tried to overthrow an election by calling his cultists to DC and then wound them up to attack the Capitol. Given this context, the FBI was wise to go in armed to the teeth.

Armed cultists who had killed and maimed police officers.
