Thoughts on MC Elite?

2030: 0-5 in B division; goal differential -39

2029: 0-5; goal differential -34

2028: 0-4; goal differential -39

Quite a program on the rise.

You forgot their 2029 B team: 2-3, goal diff -27

I'm shocked they could not field a 2031 or a 2032 team. Things must really be bad over there.

LOL you all need to relax. I said they were on the rise. Your statistics clear illustrate that in goal differential and record.

Someone posted the NGLL records/differentials for 2033 here. How is this on the rise?

2033 MoCo Clubs in NGLL:

BLC Blue: 3-0. +21 differential
Next Level: 4-1. +34 differential
MC Elite: 1-3. -22 differential
Rebels: 1-3. -29 differential

Agree with many above...especially for the B teams. They take your money and then ignore the problems, such as coaches quitting/not showing up for games and practices. They will take anyone who can cradle a ball and stick them on a Carolina team...tryouts are a joke. The club owner is scattered and can't seem to keep coaches on staff. It's a mess. Certainly not worth $3K a year. Plus I heard she is looking to sell.

Ditto. Stay Away.

How’s that 196th ranked 2028 team doing in the toughest division in the country? This should tell you everything you need to know about the decision makers at MC Elite.

Well...they improved their ranking from 199th to 196th after 4 blowout losses, just based on the 10 goal limit for differential and the quality of their competition. So they have that going for them.

What's sad the the real goal differentials are actually higher for the MC Elite teams. NGLL caps them at +10 for each game.

People, the NGLL is for all girls to play good completion. Curious, how are the girls who played MCE in MS are doing on the HS fields, either JV and Varsity?

That is not germane to the present topic of who’s decision it was to place the then 199th ranked team (now 196th) in the most competitive A division in the country? The only plausible answer: a total moron looking to build the brand at the expense of the kids. Stay away from this club.

Quite a few quit the sport sadly. Some benched on JV.

That team has no business being in the A division. They would barely survive in the B division.

Shame on the NGLL for letting them into A. The NGLL needs to put in some criteria on which teams can go into A division.

Shame on the NGLL? No, shame on MC Elite “brain trust” that wanted them in the A division. A more glaring example of incompetence I cannot think of.

Who is so upset about this? My daughter plays on one of the other NGLL A teams and nobody seems to care about this. From the perspective of a top 5 team, there is no difference between a team ranked 196 and a team ranked 66. Seems to be just more MCE bashing by someone with an axe to grind. Give it a rest already!

How about a current parent who watches their kid get dominated week in and out? It’s not bashing it is criticism which is absolutely appropriate under the circumstances. So you give your shameless defense of this club a rest.

You don’t care precisely because your kid is not part of MCE. And no one in the A is getting destroyed like MCE. They are in all likelihood not even a B team.
