Or when she flew to NY just to watch a tennis game? Girl can’t even keep her lies straight.

Her story seems consistent. She said she had to be approved for outings and at some point the aides decided she was "over saturated" and stopped approving even lunch dates.

She never alleged she was held hostage. Just that the mechanics of leaving the grounds were difficult to navigate.

So she wants us to believe she didn’t get approved for lunch dates, but somehow got approved to leave her kid and fly out of the country for a tennis match?

How obsessed are you with this woman that you're refreshing and monitoring multiple outlets? Sounds unhealthy.

NP and I agree with the person before you. On Twitter there a lot a lot of enraged black Americans, meanwhile catty Karens on DCUM are tone deaf to their own nastiness. I'm not a Meghan-stan, and yet you all remind me of the Britney haters. So.much.misogyny.

Is it catty Karens, or are these conservative troll posters?

White woman here: this whole conversation trying to excuse the skin color comment is INSANE. The posters talking about hair are deranged.

I just cannot believe real honest people are trying to excuse it. Please tell me these are the conservative Heritage employees and basement Fox-watchers that are trolling us.

I sure wish that was the case, but there is a large section of white women who think Meghan "controls" Harry, she is a manipulative b, and despite the fact that most of my friends of color would find the "how dark will his skin be" comment racially motivated, these women think it it's totally innocuous and has no deeper implication. They don't want to do any of the hard work for a just society, they find it exhausting because their life is all about them. I can't imagine defending that comment and thinking you aren't part of white supremacy. But of course that's why we have an ongoing problem, and will for some time.

Yes. A tragic accident that was a culmination of a series of bad choices.

+1 If she had word her seatbelt, she'd be alive.

And if her security hadn’t been stripped she’d still be alive

They were divorced and she was no longer officially royal. If her brother had let her hide out at the family home that summer, she'd be alive. If she and Dodi had stayed at the hotel that night, they'd be alive. If his driver wasn'r blind drunk, she'd be alive.

Do people realize who dodi is? Birds of a feather flock together. Diana was not who you gullible saps think she was.

I believe Meghan when she says she couldn't get help. It's bad press and bad for the monarchy. She would not have been able to get help in private without it being leaked or sold to the press and things being made worse.

Harry loss his mom because Diane loss the security that was offered her as a princess. She never would have been in that car chase had she still had the royal security. I understand Harry's decision now. I understand his need to work just to provide security for his family.

The british monarchy has existed for a long time and it comes from having a monarch that puts the crown before family and sacrifices. The queen leads the institution but she is very much a member of it to. I like how the tv show the crown depicts this.

She didn’t say she was literally trapped. She said that, when just chilling at home, there wasn’t a path to just up and leave and check herself into a hospital. She had a security detail, they didn’t want her to go. She knew what sneaking out in the night to check into a hospital would do, spawn another 20,000 headlines. She didn’t have a car, she couldn’t spontaneously go to the airport because she didn’t have her passport physically. If you can’t understand the idea of being in a place and knowing you cannot really truly go anywhere and that you’re being followed (protected) by people that work for people who have told you a to sit tight. Well you doing have much compassion.

Little in her story holds up. She lies easily but isn't particularly good at it.

Ok Kayleigh.

(McEnany. Baghdad Bob if that’s a better example.)

Mostly I think she’s Harry’s mother, who he misses and who’s death was formative for him. And I think she was hounded and abused by the press. Who she was deep down doesn’t change any of those facts and that’s all that matters today

How many more years does she plan to milk this 12 (?) period of her life? Because her life prior to Harry was Z-list and yachts...and her life after leaving Britain is...well, nothing but layabout grifting. She's a bore.

Seriously. She did some lovely things and truly believed in her causes. But her personal life was a disaster in SO many ways. Even rich people do trashy things.

Even if we agree to your logic that divorce = no longer employed with the family, the UK has "duty of care" laws that require employers to take some measures to protect people who encounter harms that they otherwise wouldn't as a result of their employment.

Diana Spencer wouldn't have been a target. MM wouldn't have been a target and nor would her children. I think that standard duty of care laws should apply here.

How many more times can she retell the same events over and over for fame. Without royal theatre they're nobodies. Without new royal theatre nobody will give a shit.

It’s not just white women. There are two women in my life who absolutely hate Meghan. All I can say is - envy is a terrible disease.

The Canadian Government paid for their security until March 2020, when their official duties ceased and they moved to CA.

They didn’t mention this at all.
