Let's see those lottery lists!

For the first time in a couple years I'm out of the lottery. But I always really enjoyed seeing everyone else's list, so if you're up for sharing, please do! Be sure to include the grade(s) and your IB school.

I second this! Played for a couple of immersion HRCS in the past couple years, but not even bothering this year (IB school has been great; third year here). Still fun to see others' lists.

when is the deadline. March 1st?

We are "sort of" happy where we are and so not sure we've move for anything but Lamb and Stokes.

pk4
stokes (we'd move)
ITS
CMI
SWS

And them Lamb

For PK3, we live in Petworth:
CMI
Yu Ying
EL Haynes
Powell (IB)

if we strike out (know there was an IB waitlist for Powell last year), will stay where we are another year.

There are other schools we'd find convenient and happy to send DC to (Bruce Monroe, West, Barnard) but I don't see that there's much chance getting in there OOB. Figure if we can't get in to our own IB school, we have a bad enough draw we won't get into others OOB.

PK3, Bloomingdale

Munde Verde
Yu Ying
Stokes both
LAMB (this is where I would rank it if it were ranked)
ITS
CMI
Two Rivers 4th
Lee
Cleveland English
Seaton
Langley (guaranteed IB)

This list will likely place us at Langley and I am fine with that. Actually I would be a little relieved to have an easy commute!

I see that you selected Cleveland English when you prioritized dual language at the top of your list. Curious why.

for 5th grade:

Two Rivers
Inspired Teaching
SWS
Bridges
Shining Stars
Hyde-Addison
Brent
Ross
Creative Minds
Cap City
Latin
SWW at F-S

We're at an EOTP school now that our kid really dislikes, but we aren't able to move out of DC for one more year. After that, we'd be happy to stay in the District or to move to the suburbs depending on the lottery. She has some special needs, and is on the immature side. She's a pretty average student and BASIS would not be a good fit.

Because we wouldn't get in OOB. I guess there's no harm in putting it there, but I might want to put SWS or EL Haynes instead.

Our chances are probably 0, but I wanted DH to see how the lottery works. All other schools are too far and I have an option of staying home 1-3 more years.

This list makes no logistics sense-- what's your IB.

what - there are lots of other schools not too far from schools on your list that seem similar to those you have on your list (lee stokes). But sww@fs and shnning stars aren't anywhere near each other, so your list is just. . . random.
