I mean, some of the coded language used against these young men is inexcusable and the allegations against them remain just that allegations. Do not be so quick to judge especially when power structures remain in place to thwart and frustrate all expressions of Black excellence. What if a so called white coach acted as Mr. Overtime is alleged to have acted. He would probably be given an award. Taking in homeless students and giving them a shot at college ball is not a crime, not even in Virginia. Stereotype threat is real.
That sounds a little racist to me.
To the white supremacists, anything not supporting white supremacy is racist. Things aren’t fair unless they have the advantage.
Are the white supremacists to blame for DO's kid failing out of two colleges?
Follow up question - are the white supremacists to blame for DO’s kid being so bad at football he lacked the talent to step foot on a football field at two mediocre D3 programs?
Your average person can’t compete on a college level. Are you shaming DO because his couldn’t? Could yours?
D3 is littered with average athletes and below average ones. How do I know? Three of my kids are playing D3 sports - women's soccer, men's lacrosse, and men's basketball (all in the Centennial conference which is "good" in all of those sports) and I am WELL aware of my kids' athletic ability. So your first sentence is wrong and I answered your last sentence. And it is easy enough to verify - we don't have a common last name.
