2028 Girls Lacrosse

Both Capital and Coppermine wanted to avoid playing each other so they both tanked to avoid meeting in the playoffs. The best two girls on Capital purposely did this so they could convince their parents they need to move to a Maryland program - CCLax is looking forward to having them.

The top Coppermine Middie is going to the Capital clinics and practices. She is also transferring to Battlefield. Battlefield 28 class all coming over to Cap Blue.

If it is true - good riddance and God speed and don't let the door hit you on your way out. If I am a college coach, especially in the transfer portal era, I would not touch these girls. Precedent set as a HS freshman. Pathetic.

The fact that you might believe "the established infrastructure" is what gets girls recruited to top schools is hilarious. College coaches have their livelihood on the line. The last thing they're doing is just taking club coaches' word for anything other than an initial look and background. They bring in who they want the most and can get.

I doubt though that you actually believe that, but just want others to.

The "if I am a college coach" part is just too much comedy. College coaches are mining the portal whenever they can.
