We’re out of Baltimore area (well, south of that) and goodness Capital parents (or the one or two here that are casting a shadow on them all) are the most insecure crew I’ve seen. If you truly believed the club or your team were good enough, you would never see the defensiveness here. You don’t see Hero’s or M&D parents in an all out frenzy to show they’re the best or adequate. If it’s just a parent or two on here, consider how you are representing the club. Stop reacting to parent of kid on Club XYZ claiming they’re better or the better way to go. It doesn’t matter if what you have is good. It’s either false and so who cares or it’s not a zero sum game.

This looks like a troll fest on both sides. The Capital parents I know are all at the beach and don’t know or care that much about Coppermine.

Anyone reading this who thinks it’s real and indicative of anything related to culture, current status of either team, etc, needs to get some better information sources.

As for Coppermine, the old guard on the MD boards has predicting their demise for years. Still hasn’t happened.

How you figure it's both sides is curious. If Coppermine never came.up, there'd be no reason for anyone to remind Capital folks how bleak things are for them. We're attempting to say the same to Cap backers about how none of what their posting is real, but unfortunately you're incorrect in that it is reflective of the culture. It's posted all over all of these threads all of the time. It IS the culture.
