Honest question... does anyone know if FCV will move to Springfield? They have been saying this for a while now.

Why would they?

My guess is yes. No way TSJ, which is all about profit being backed by a London based PE firm, will be continuing to pay for field space when they have an empty multimillion dollar state of the art facility.

Well yes, but that facility only has one field. They would need to augment with county fields for which there is considerable contention. Cheaper than Evergreen for sure, but not turnkey.

Parents pay SJ for the program. If they let them use the turf and do not charge extra then they are losing potential revenue. I doubt the London PE firm cares about training schedules.

Bingo! Everyone thinks FCV is headed to TSJ because of one in house field. They could never practice there every night. When all the top teams are together, with the ULittles, they take up three fields alone at Evergreen and there are two shifts.

There are a lot of turf fields in Fairfax compared to Loudoun but FCV has the monopoly at Evergreen.

Plus, no one is talking about Hanson Park. That'll change the complete dynamic in Loudoun once its completed.

You think TSJ bought FCV for a return on the player fees to the club? Right... plus what parent wants to pay for a money grab from a for profit club?

You don’t think they’re paying for the use of Evergreen?

That has nothing to do with pop’s statement. Try and keep up.

Friendly reminder FCV is light years ahead of mediocre Loudoun Sucka!

I’d say playing in the backup league doesn’t represent light years ahead.
