Fyi he called a friend to say he'd killed someone, not the cops. It is in the charging documents |
I'm guessing the legions of people convinced he's a national hero will get to him and by the time this is all said and done, he'll be a right wing troll like George Zimmerman. |
Interesting. Trying to protect his dad from IL felony charges. It does put his "friend" in legal jeopardy though. |
Police make a LOT more money than you realize. They are nowhere near underpaid. They do have sketchy hiring practices though. The most egregious one is that people who score too high on an intelligence teat are automatically rejected. |
So, Kyle Rottenhouse was a legend in his own mind? Noir had me paying attention until he compared Rottenhouse to 18 year old soldiers. If Rottenhouse experienced basic training and actual military discipline, that might be convincing. Instead he had a legend in his own mind with a itchy trigger finger. Lock him up. Forever. |
It's also super easy to prove one way or the other. Who has the weapon now? Where was it turned in? In whose name was it egistered? I guess they're just trying to argue that he didn't take it into WO, since that would be a felony and open up felony murder charges. If he took it back to IL but did not bring it to WI tgen although it is still a felony the felony occurred after the killings and not before. Hence no felony murder. But as I said, if the police are doing their basic job then this is easily proven or disproven. |
not according to https://www.ziprecruiter.com/Salaries/What-Is-the-Average-Police-Officer-Salary-by-State. looks like about $50k |
That's base. That does not include overtime, which is substantial. Plus a defined pension, extremel rare nowadays. Plus early retirement with full benefits. |
Your opinion of Rittenhouse doesn’t matter when it comes to whether he can legally claim that he was defending himself. There is video evidence out there that supports his claim. Also, it’s kind of petty to say “Noir had some points until he brought up 18 year olds dying in Iraq.” You obviously believe there’s some merit to a lot of Noir’s points aside from this statement. |

Another note in the defenses favor is that the only eyewitness to the Rosenbaum killing that we know of is a reporter for the Daily Caller who verified that Rosenbaum was chasing Rittenhouse and trying to wrestle his gun away after Rittenhouse turned toward Rosenbaum after gunshots went off in the area. When you have video evidence and an eyewitness verifying Rittenhouse’s defense it’s going to be hard to convict Rittenhouse of anything besides weapons charges.
Also, the guy who later chased Rittenhouse with a handgun after the Rosenbaum shooting, who was shot in the forearm, is quoted on Facebook by his friend stating that he wished he “dumped the whole mag in him.” This guy is incriminating himself and should lawyer up as well. |
Doesnt that make him the good guy with the gun? I can’t keep up. |
Absolutely 100% wrong. The average cop salary that is carried by most of those sites includes hundreds of thousands of various special police who are glorified armed guards. A post-training, post-probationary cop in this region receives a base of between 65-85, plus overtime, plus enormous pension contributions, plus allowances, plus a take-home car that they are allowed to use for personal purposes such that commuting is free for them. A sergeant or detective averages over $100k and supervisory and managing personnel, from Lt through Ass’t Chief, typically receive roughly 115-185, plus the aforementioned perks and benefits. They cannot be fired absent felony charges and in some cases job-related felony convictions. They make dramatically more than comparable bouncers and guards and the are freely licensed to kill civilians for sport and pleasure. |

Where is the murder weapon now? Who was it registered to? These are very important facts. If it was not turned in then that's a tampering with evidence charge and it goes towards intent.
Note: whether or not there is self-defemse it was still murder. Self-defense doesn't change the underlying act it just gives a get out of jail free card. |
Exactly. Victim 3 was the good guy with the gun. Victim 2 was the good guy with the skateboard. |
The underlying act is killing. It's only murder when you are convicted. |
