Misuse of pronouns as subject and object (I/me, him/he, myself, etc.)

Wow, racist much. Unbelievable.

+1. Even educated-looking UMC moms at Whole Foods have their kids glued to iPads or their large iPhone maxes. It's crazy.

This is one of the things for me that poor people shouldn't do, but it's fine if the rich/UMC do it.

+1

This is one of those things I would never say out loud. I feel like UMC (and even MC) kids are getting plenty of other opportunities for enrichment and are usually in other activities, so I don't assume as much about their screen time. Poor families, not so much.

I agree in terms of my own tastes, but I love to see a random suit, tie or newsboy hat on a little baby, its hilarious and ridiculous in a sweet way.

Seeing a baby in suspenders and a grandpa cardigan is so damn cute.

Fat people. I find them gross and undisciplined.

Heavy black eyeliner, esp on blondes or other with a fair complexion. I try so hard to see past this when smart women do it, and I just can’t—all I see is truck stop waitresses and goth teenagers. Ditto dark lipliner, but I rarely see this.

Unmarried people having children
Smokers

I am fat because I work crazy hours and carry the household too. You’re not a snob you’re completely ignorant

Going thru this thread and have to say this response made me smile.

And yes I said moms. Not dads. Sexist? You bet. So’s the world. Moms know first hand what kind of judgement comes with this look. And yes I know girls will change in the bathroom at school. I still think this.

Yeah, in no small part because you keep perpetuating the sexist shit. Women like you are THE WORST.

Lol, I’ll continue fighting the patriarchy the way I always have: by being a nationally known physician in a male-dominated field and mentoring my female trainees the way I hope someone does for my own daughter.

If you’d like to to continue the fight in booty shorts and a belly shirt, have at it.

You will never win against male biology. As sad as it is, people are attracted to this and men can’t control their boners. Dressing like this is not for comfort, it’s for attention. You just can’t deny it.

Black women who hate white women for no other reason except for their skin color.

I look down on men who wear wifebeaters. They just kind of scream "I'm trashy!" even if the person is a multimillionaire (hi Bieber).

Food service workers with dirty hair and/or dirty nails. I just assume they're gross and probably not washing their hands or adhering to safe food practices.

Sure, I hate face tattoos but wasn't it Post Malone who said he got tattoos on his face in an effort to cover up his ugliness? Meanwhile, despite the tattoos he has a reputation of being incredibly kind and respectful towards everyone.

He would still be kind and respectful without the face tattoos. Face tattoos mean you've given up on ever fitting in as a normal person, or you have been raped in jail.

Man life is too short to worry about “fitting in”. Make choices that please you. You get one life, how sad to spend it trying to fit in.

I don't want to fit in with people who have been raped in jail. No.

Sorry, you lost me. Who was raped in jail?

That's the origin of face tattoos. Jail.

HAHAHAHAHA You're even dumber than I thought. The Māori of New Zealand, various Indigenous peoples of North America like the Inuitri of New Zealand, various Indigenous peoples of North America like the Inuit would like to have a say.

NP. Americans with face tattoos are not indigenous Māori. It is outside the bounds of normal societal standards to tattoo one’s face. I agree with PP that it is a sign of time spent in prison. (I disagree with the whole prison rape tangent but absolutely time in prison.) Face tattoos are antisocial… and yes even for Post Malone.

I’ll say it again, face tattoos did not originate in prison.

No one is arguing the origins of face tattoos. They are saying they associate face tattoos with prison because those are the folks with face tattoos in the U.S. I have never encountered Māori with a face tattoos. You are being annoying PP.

Perhaps read before calling people annoying:roll:

I responded to this comment: "That's the origin of face tattoos. Jail."

In the U.S., it is.

You're so ignorant. No, it is not. They may have been coopted in the 80s by various gangs, but they most certainly did not originate in prison, even in the US.

Nobody but prisoners have their face tattooed in the U.S. There are no Māori here. If you tattoo your face, you are removing the ability to be hired for many jobs. It isn’t socially acceptable.

Well, I'm glad you finally gave up on one lie, but you had to take on another one, I see. No, it is not true that they are socially unacceptable. Maybe among boomers like you. Plenty of young people who have never seen the inside of a prison have face and neck tattoos. Get out of your bubble, Grandma.

And no, I don't have a single tattoo anywhere on my body.

You aren’t getting a customer facing or corporate job with a face tattoo. I’m not a grandma or a boomer and I would bet most of society would judge someone who would do this to their face no matter how nice they are. They are not cool or edgy. They are ridiculous.

Males who aren’t men. What happened to the real men, tough, confident, generous, chivalrous…. Instead we are stuck with a bunch of coddled mommas boys who wear skinny jeans, drink green smoothies and hang out on DCUM.
