people who say they don't read people who don't ask questions in a conversation bad grammar (her and I, could've went - but I have one I always mess up on. Grew up with correctors.) people who don't initiate social plans and wait for you to ask |
I’m Gen X, almost millennial, and I think tattoos are tacky. I also think the long pointy nails are tacky. |
This is so bizarre, and giving such suburban energy. I live in NYC and such a thought has never even entered my head. |
Out here in the burbs we live with a legacy of harsh discrimination against people of color buying houses in our neighborhoods. In the modern era, we do what we can to break through this historical barrier but even now it's difficult. Would YOU want to move into an area that for generations you were discouraged, or even disallowed to visit let alone move into? I live in a midwest college town. Idyllic seeming, except for a legacy of "sundowning" in which any black folk who were seen after dark were harassed until they went back across the tracks. |
Clearly we live in different "burbs". Are you even in the DC area? You sound like you are posting from Utah. |
| I can't take anyone seriously once they admit to obsessively watching reality TV and netflix slop. |
Sysco slop cooked in seed oils... yummmmmmy.

| I have a hatred for gum chewing. An extreme hatred for it. |
+1. Even educated-looking UMC moms at Whole Foods have their kids glued to iPads or their large iPhone maxes. It's crazy. |

People who wish me a blessed day Maple syrup snobs (I don't like it; it hurts my throat.) Nail art Smokers Misuse of pronouns as subject and object (I/me, him/he, myself, etc.) |
This is one of the things for me that poor people shouldn't do, but it's fine if the rich/UMC do it. |
I only have white friends. I’m very friendly with some nonwhite people at work, but it never extends beyond hallway chats. |
| People who don't send thank you notes. People who spend beyond their means. |
| People who misuse common English words. Their/there/they're, etc |
